Many of us at NinDB are fans of Pokémon, so I guess it was natural for a thread like this one to appear eventually. Post your Pokémon ideas! Draw a picture of them, show us their basic attributes and what moves could they learn by leveling up. Try to include only one Pokémon or one evolution family per post so that others can comment on them separately.
Here are my first ones, which happen to be a couple for double battles a la Plusle & Minun. I'll give 'er a go... SkullerSkull PokemonIn order to get this guy, a new item is introduced that powers up fossil Pokemon. When a Gastly levels up at night when holding this item, he transforms. Type: Ghost/Normal Ability: Levitate So since he is normal and ghost, he is able to be attacked by both sets of moves, but is only immune to ground attacks due to his levitate thing. Yup. I made a cool picture.

So Ghost and Normal cancel the immunities of each other? That's new ^_^
Typing makes sense because it became more "material" upon evolution.

Love them ghosts. 'Specially a) the Shy Guy-esque look of yours, Johans and b) the fact that yours, Teev, is a floating, screaming skull with a tongue. A family of gators. Only got one picture, unfortunately. Minigator [MIH-nih-GAYT-er] Lizard Pokémon Though born small enough to fit in the palm of a child's hand, it will grow quickly, eventually to over two feet long. Evolution Minigator is a basic Pokémon. At level 20, it will evolve into Gatosaur. Type: Water Height: 2' 06" (76.2 cm) Weight: 28 lb (12.7 kg) Egg Group: Monster / Water 1 Ability: Swift Swim Stats: HP: 45 Attack: 70 Special Attack: 35 Defense: 35 Special Defense: 55 Speed: 70 Moves: Scratch (Start) Tail Whip (Start) Leer (Level 5) Bubble (Level 8) Bite (Level 15) Clamp (Level 20) Aqua Jet (Level 23) Rain Dance (Level 29) Water Pulse (Level 35) Whirlpool (Level 43) Superpower (Level 50)
Crocogator [CRAW-coh-GAYT-uhr] Alligator Pokémon To conserve energy, this Pokémon stays perfectly still until its prey is in biting range. Because of this, it rarely misses. Image unavailable Evolution Crocogator is a Stage-1 Pokémon. At level 20, it evolves from Minigator. At level 40, it evolves into Megator. Type: Water Height: 4' 09" (144.8 cm) Weight: 85 lb (38.6 kg) Egg Group: Monster / Water 1 Ability: Swift Swim Stats: HP: 65 Attack: 95 Special Attack: 45 Defense: 45 Special Defense: 75 Speed: 95 Moves: Bubble (Start) Tail Whip (Start) Bite (Start) Clamp (Start) Water Gun (Level 23) Aqua Jet (Level 29) Haze (Level 32) Mist (Level 36) Dragon Claw (Level 42) Whirlpool (Level 45) Aqua Ring (Level 51) Superpower (Level 55) Hydro Pump (Level 64) Megator [meh-GAYT-uhr] Alligator Pokémon This monsterous Pokémon rarely eats, but when it does, the terrible feast is almost unstoppable until it is full. Image unavailable Evolution Megator is a Stage-2 Pokémon. At level 20, it evolves from Minigator. At level 40, it evolves from Crocogator. Type: Water/Dark Height: 5'11" (180.3 cm) Weight: 185 lb (83.9 kg) Egg Group: Monster / Water 1 Ability: Swift Swim Stats: HP: 85 Attack: 115 Special Attack: 55 Defense: 55 Special Defense: 95 Speed: 120 Moves: Bite (Start) Tail Whip (Start) Clamp (Start) Water Gun (Start) Aqua Jet (Start) Haze (Start) Mist (Start) Dragon Claw (Start) Crunch (Level 42) Punishment (Level 46) Payback (Level 50) Whirlpool (Level 52) Faint Attack (Level 50) Aqua Ring (Level 53) Hydro Pump (Level 64)

I find Tragedill looking more like a Wizzrobe with that hat and robe Fast alligators sound interesting (they're supposed to be quick!). But I'd really like to see what they'd look like. Maybe all quadruped to be different enough from Feraligatr & family, and some interesting detail like that bag-like skin in Feraligatr. Also those base stats you gave to the final alligator make it godly (only weaker than Arceus!). Specifying numerical stats isn't necessary.

They are supposed to be bipedal with the exception of Megator who I think may be able to stand bipedally.
What ever are you talking about? Megator's base stat total is CLEARLY 525. 0=)
Yeah, you were right, it was ridiculous when I took a look at the total, so I nerfed him big time.

See, the funny part is that I pretended like the old stats never happened in a way that implied I was lying.

An attacking-only Pokémon! Very few are like that, and they are usually Pokémon with few to one moves. It does sound interesting, and I imagine it like a Buzz from the Donkey Kong Country series.

That was the idea! The only difference is that his thorax is longer and thinner, he has no legs, there are two spikes sticking out of the exact center of his thorax, and his abdomen kinda hangs down. Looking at that, I think his shiny sprite should be purple now.

Once upon a time I was making my own little Pokedex featuring new Pokemon. I had created the Pokedex layout but scrapped the project after that. Wanna see Neepom? Those shadows to your right allow you to scroll through different Pokemon while still looking at an entry. I also stuck Cry, Height, and Weight under one section Data.

That's like a foot, or still a tail? Poor thingy to be a monkey! The head does look like that of a pre-evolved form.

It hops around on its tail. It grabs the branches of trees and swings using that hand. I thought... What would and Aipom pre-evo look like? It's evolution had two hands, what would come before one hand? Well at first I made a baby Aipom without a hand tail, but then I realized that the hand-tail thing was the whole basis of that specie.
So made him a hand butt with no tail. (He still had legs) I figured it would be cute to see him sit on his hand-like seat. So I drew him sitting on his hand butt with his legs dangling. After I got the cool idea that maybe I'd just remove the legs so that he always has to support his body on his hand-behind.

Hello from the land of "What the hell happened to that thread?" I bring to you in honor of my birthday (and as a clear reference to SMRPG) a new Pokemon. Say hello to Buntkayk! Buntkayk [BUNT-kayk] Cake Pokémon This Pokémon secretes a sweet-tasting goo. Those who have tried it say it tastes like raspberries. Note that this is a temporary image. Buntkayk looks significantly enough different to where this is a viable temp, but not the real deal. Though you'll probably be able to guess that Buntkayk is a BIG TIME reference to it. Evolution Buntkayk is a basic Pokémon that does not evolve. Type: Ice/Ground Height: 5'11" (180.3 cm) Weight: 185 lb (83.9 kg) Egg Group: Indeterminate Ability: Thick Fat Stats: HP: 120 Attack: 90 Special Attack: 55 Defense: 40 Special Defense: 85 Speed: 40 Moves: Pound (Start) Sand-Attack (Start) Absorb (Level 5) Ember (Level 10) Flail (Level 10) Song (Level 15) Ice Shard (Level 25) Sandstorm (Level 35) Blizzard (Level 45) Sheer Cold (Level 60)

Impressive. Bundt's moves translate well into Pokemon, don't they?
