I preordered the game ages ago and my Gamestop-working buddies have been telling me to pick it up, if for no other reason than to clear it out of their system. I can't afford to blow money on another wagglefest, and I have seven days to return the game before I can trade it in at a pittance.
So I leave it to you, my dear NDBers, to sell me on this game. Please help!
(Technically, I'm still on hiatus, but if I didn't have that seven-day time limit, I'd wait till I got back...)

I still haven't played it, but Saim's impressions seemed to be quite positive in this old thread. How much did you pay for it? If it were me and it was budget priced, I'd probably take a chance on it.

Reviews seemed fairly positive, but I haven't played it.

I bought a PAL copy a long time ago. While I have a NTSC Wii So thanks to this thread I finally decided to take it to a friend's house and check it out. Singleplayer is okay. You go around painting grey buildings and liberate little blob people by touching them and completing 'paint challenges' and whatnot within a time limit. It's kinda annoying how you can only jump by flicking your Wiimote upwards. It's unresponsive sometimes and while I had plenty of time to spare in the first stage, no doubt will it drive you bonkers in later levels with tighter time limits. Multiplayer's good fun though. There's a bunch of different modes you can play with up to 4 players where it basically gets down to who has the most buildings painted in his colour before the timer runs out. This article explains them nicely. I say get it if you have 3-4 wiimotes lying around and want to try something new multiplayer-wise. I wouldn't lay down 50 bucks just for the singleplayer experience though.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I think I'll return it and take a pass for now (I just lost one of my part time jobs last night :X), and if I have the money for it later - or if there's a used copy lying around somewhere - I'll give it a shot. Fortunately, the game only cost $30, so it's not like I'm paying a ludicrous amount for it either way. Just, now's not a financially good time for me XD

Yikes, sorry to hear about the job loss. I certainly know about wanting to make sure you have enough money for things.
