Can I get a hell yeah? We don't need Famitsu to highlight Tingle's crotch - Link is doing it for us. I think this is delightfully crazy stuff. Glad to see Nintendo's having fun with this. And this new Tingle is SCREAMING for a Smash Bros. appearance.

Weird. The game is a parody of the Wizard of Oz. Tingle travels with a cowardly lion, a heartless robot and a stupid scarecrow, and the three can help him on his quest. The story is also partially explained: Tingle buys a book and gets sucked into it.

And the robot is apparently "sexy" as well...

Rumored release date for Japan is August 6 - less than a month: gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=88697For the sake of completeness, the (rather generic) names of Tingle's three friends are Kakashi (just means scarecrow), Buriki (means tinplate, the tin woman) and Lion ('nuff said).

Some more details: The game takes place in a book world. Tingle starts out as a 'normal' 35 year old man like in the last game, he becomes Tingle once he enters the book. gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=89674

LOL at the box art: Really hope for a release in Europe - and wonder if it will get a 12+ rating for "sex and violence" again. ;D So, there's a 35 year old man again who becomes Tingle because of a picture book world? Not because of Old Man/Uncle Rupee? And even yet the "new" Tingle looks exactly the same? Well, maybe there're "parallel worlds" like in the Zelda timeline...

Or Tingle went back to "normal" after his ordeal with Uncle Rupee.

Or Tingle went back to "normal" after his ordeal with Uncle Rupee. Is Uncle Rupee's magic reversible? I don't think so. Tingle managed to stop him from making more Tingles, but he himself will remain like this, perhap?

I refuse to even dabble in the idea of Multiple Tingle Theory!
Especially when we all know there's only one Link, who is actually Tingle.

Yeah right. Just TRY to put the two Tingle games into the Triforce of Time. I'll PAY you if you can pull it off.

You act like that's a challenge.
It's a well known fact that Link/Tingle is a chronic amnesiac.

Everybody knows that the big hole in the middle of the Triforce of Time theory is the "glory hole". And that is where Tingle resides. In the glory hole.

A more likely explanation is that all of Tingle's origin stories are true. Just like the Joker's.

holy shit how awesome would a dark Zelda with a Joker-like, insane maniac Tingle be?
I'll save you the trouble of answering: So Awesome.
