Man, I gotta treat you to, like, a pizza or something. ;D Oh, on the subject of Mario RPGs, am I the only one to feel like Paper Mario TTYD's sountrack is unmemorable?

Most TTYD music is not that good, but memorable. Some did give some rather nice impression.
But in general, IntSys music without Yuka Tsujiyoko is not too impressive.

I actually really liked the majority of the Paper Mario soundtrack, but TTYD's is largely unmemorable (I do love the Rogueport theme though).
Funnily enough, I've seen forums criticising the Fire Emblem soundtrack (or at least the more recent games) for being unmemorable. I would have to agree - it's not that it's bad music, it's just that it doesn't stick. Perhaps it's simply a case of there being too much of it. The more you hear a theme, the more it stays with you, so the more music you stick in the game, the less likely it is anybody will remember it.
Although there's always a handful of exceptions - usually the few songs that do something weird that doesn't fit the style of the rest of the soundtrack. For example, while the Twilight Princess soundtrack is also largely unmemorable, the battle against the Gohma Spider or the Hidden Village are both so out of tune with the rest of the game's music that they become memorable and loved because of it. Then there's the epic Hyrule Field soundtrack, which you hear a lot during the game.
It's a complex subject, I'm sure.

I have trouble remembering any Fire Emblem music save for the song they used in Melee, which was fucking awesome. But I also blame that on the fact that I don't play the Fire Emblem games, so I'm largely going by the songs they used in Brawl.

Let's see. I'm completely good to go for FE2, 4~8 music. It's the 3D game ones that aren't memorable. But given how much do I play FE10, I remmeber the music well too. And that's only my 2nd playthrough.
Again, introduce me a valid host and maybe I can give SPM music. I forgot where did I get my current one.

Again, introduce me a valid host and maybe I can give SPM music. I forgot where did I get my current one. How about uploading it to Megaupload or the like? It's free and allows for quite some large files to be uploadded. It'd be cool if you could upload all of your Fire Emblem OSTs, since I can't find any links on ffshrine. Also while I think the original Paper Mario has better tracks then TTYD, I actually like that one better then any of the DS Mario RPG games. I think they're just duller in general (though Teehee Valley from the first one's pretty sweet)

Once again, look into SerenesForest.net for FE-related media. And yeah.... Megaupload and RapidShare and something like that would do... The M&L music, well, they aren't much Mario-themed, I guess. But as music in general, I do like M&L3 music. And as a natural step in my spoiler-hunting of New SMB Wii... Anyone got New SMB Wii music readily in MP3/M4A?

I was just thinking, but do they have loop-able music for download? I don't like the idea of having to edit them myself.

I like FE7's music the most, to spiral back a little. Some of Brawl's remixes were fantastic (Mila's Divine Protection is lovely), but I don't remember much of 8 or 9's, to be honest.

Understandable. I really hope to see Yuka Tsujiyoko back - and not as an in-general advisor oor something. She totally needs to come back and write music.

I have a faint hint of FE9's standard battle theme in my head, but compared to the majority of FE7's that I can summon up, yeah, it'd be nice to have her back. She did a great job with the limited GBA sound chip, that she did.

Also, does anyone know anything about music download from Nintendo Puzzle Collection? I've had a look. It's surprisingly tricky to find a lot of Gamecube soundtracks. I'm also keeping my eyes open for a Jungle Beat soundtrack or game rip, so far to no avail...

Does anyone know where I can find MP3's of Wario Land: Shake Dimension?
Thanks in advance.
