Wii Points ARE money. 1000 Wii Points means 1000 yen. Cut two zeros and it's the rough amount in US dollars. I'm glad that I only had to pay s little bit less than 3000 yen the last time I (finally) bought some Wii Points. (Drat, they don't even sell point cards before!) In Australia, the RRP of a 2000 points card is $34.95. Real money my arse, if I can't work out what a SNES game costs off the top of my head, which I can't, its not real money. |

I bought Suikoden and Rayman for now. I recently played Symphony of the Night and Final Fantasy VII, so there was little point getting those again.

Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1 “Launch of the Screaming Narwhal”will be free tommorrow in celebration of 'Talk Like a Pirate Day" this Saturday. The giveaway begins at 12:01 AM GMT and rolls until exactly 12:00 AM on September 20th. Here's the link. (Currently it's around another 18 and a half hours to go). Considering the trailer has release date info at the end of it, I don't think it was leaked . . . or at least not leaked to early. . . . Robin Walker did fire everyone at Valve after the whole "Meet the Spy" incident remember? ;D (At least everyone from A to Y). Also Bayonetta on the 360 managed to get 40/40 from Famitsu. I beilieve that's the first 360 title to do so. (The ported PS3 version done by SEGA got 38/40). |

Also TF2 Halloween update! New KOTH map Harvest (with ghost to scare players) and new hats and 5 acheivements avalible for a limited time period. Also to those who haven't pre-order L4D2, the demo will be avalible (to the public) around November 5th. |

I was playing this last night and apparently they turned down the rarity of hats too for awhile. Managed to score 2 of 'em.. for 2 classes I never ever play.
And now I have to dominate someone this weekend to get that goofy hat, which sucks because my kill-death rate's about 1:3.

And now I have to dominate someone this weekend to get that goofy hat, which sucks because my kill-death rate's about 1:3. I still haven't got any extra hats (apart from Cheater's Lament) from playing last night, I have managed to see someone wearing the Ghaslty hat though. Only thing I'm happy about is getting 1 of the 5 acheveiments (killing someone scared by the ghost) and I only need one more kill with a pumpkin bomb to get the next one. But because I have exams (and limited amounts of internet) I can't really play now. |
