Y'know, I don't remember the last time I looked in here and saw people not talking about TF2.

Because it's the best! The best! You remind me though: any of you bothered to get Starcraft 2? If you did we totally should play a game together. Or have a /dance off. I remember the game having some dumb Wii-esque friend code system, but you can add people to yer friendslist by just entering their email adress too, mine being the same as in my NinDB profile.

I'm start to think this thread should be renamed with Valve/Steam mentioned in the title . . . But talking about Valve . . . Dota 2 announced by Valve!(Copy pasta summary from NeoGAF)*Everything from DotA is coming over *AI bots take over disconnected players *Uses Source engine, Steamworks *Interactive guides and coaching system to help newer players *2011 release *The bulk of innovation in Dota 2, however, is ancillary to the gameplay itself. Valve is upgrading Steamworks (the company's backend technologies for matchmaking and other gameplay and community-related things) to allow them to create in-game rewards for participating in the Dota 2 community. The idea is to have everything a player does in or out of game tie back into their online identity. Like the improvements to Source, the Steamworks upgrades will be available to third-party developers who choose to use Valve's tools when Dota 2 launches in 2011.

Yeah really. Why don't we have a Team Fortress 2/Valve/Steam related thread? Wouldn't it go in the Third Party board?

Looks like TellTale Game is giving the first episode of their Back To The Future game (PC version obviously) away for free if you register at their site. www.telltalegames.com/bttfofferAlso TTG is also working on . . . Jurrasic Park (trailer unveiled!), reboot of King's Quest, Puzzle Agent 2, Hector: Badge of Carnage (port of an iphone game), The Walking Dead and Fables games EDIT: Interestingly enough, Bryan Lee O'Malley tweeted that TTG were interesting in a Scott Pilgrim game but he couldn't see it as an adventure game and said no. Damn . . .
