I guess that's for the US folks? I pre-ordered and can already play it (and according to tf2backpack I already gained the bonus thing too). Game's great by the way, good ol' 2d worms fun. This time you can select a hat for your team of worms... yay? On the other hand they (again) left out stuff from Worms2/Armageddon. Where's the team flag? No more fanfare? Can't I have 8vs8? Sure I understand not bringing back all old weapons (grandma bomb was hella worthless) and maybe I'm just nitpicking here, but it doesn't feel like an expanded sequel if they replace new features with old ones.

Yeah, I feel the same way, especially the lack of 8v8 play. It's just not the same having a four worm team It's still fun, but it feels more like its own game. Then again, maybe it's because I haven't unlocked everything. Who knows?

Hahaha, oh wow. I see Max, Stongbad, Tycho (is that how you spell it?), and...whose that on the middle right? Looks kinda like Heavy...
Holy, shit...it is Heavy.

An acquaintance of mine pointed out that Tycho and Heavy appear to be holding playing cards, and that, coupled with the fact that Telltale has already made at least one poker game, had lowered my excitement considerably.

Yeah, they made one poker game... five years ago... it was the first thing they did, and was little more than a test for their engine, really.
Since then they've made a whole crapton of award-winning story-driven cinematic adventure games, which is what they pride themselves on.
It could be a return to poker, but even if it is, given their track record I have pretty high expectations for whatever it is. They're responsible for most of the best downloadable games I've ever played, and I buy a lot of those things.

Microsoft is relasing a new Xbox 360 controller with a new D-Pad design that can transform from the "disc" version to a "plus" pad. There also a few other changes but nothing as interesting as the transforming D-pad.
Anyone find this a bit ironic that Microsoft is releasing Kintec (your body is the controller!) and now this controller within such a short time frame? (at least in the US).

The interesting part is how they got rid of the coloured buttons, when that was a nice little feature to help newbies work out which button was what. And now since they didn't bother to make all the buttons the same colour, they look super duper ugly.

If the writing is as witty as... well, everything else Telltale have done, then I'll be getting this. I don't even know how to play poker, but those guys know how to funny.
It'll probably keep me entertained while I wait for their Back to the Future game.

It's less than 4 bucks anyway, plus you'll probably get some goofy ass TF2 item 'cause that automatically means a 75% increase in sales for Telltale.

This update seems pretty good. The items/bonuses they give are nice (eg: full Snipers kit prevent headshots against him) though they might be unbalanced.
Also the Saxton Hale name anagram joke is brilliant (SPOILER hot anal sex)
Though slightly disappointed that there appears to be no new game mode or map has appeared as Robin Walker said would happen an interview a few months ago.
But due to going over monthly broadband limit, I'm now on friggen dial-up till next Wednesday.

Was able to finally experience the update yesterday, ended up getting the L'estranger revolver for the Spy as my first drop, but haven't used it yet. Want to get the new Spy knife (feels like every spy is using it now) but I need another CnD.
Then played again at the end of the day to finally earn Engineer Milestone 2 and earn the Gunslinger and holy crap is the that device effective at slaughtering people. This is how you engie as effective offensive force. Work wonderfully well with the Frontier Justice.
Then a random drop gave me the Pyro's Degreaser, damn the weapon switch is so fast, feels almost instanteous (because it's supposed to be used with the Axestnigusher).
