There's this code in Kid Icarus: DUVANS MAMMOR KOMMER BORTOT
You start at the final level with invincibility and maximum fire power.
The strange thing is that the words are swedish and the code is in fact a readable swedish sentence. A translation will get this result: 'The dove's mothers are coming away.'"
Strange Huh?

Looks like NOA try very hard to make codes actually meaningful, even if it means to use foreign language codes.

Has anyone actually done any research into Kid Icarus' password system? It's entirely possible that certain phrases simply have certain effects due to the placement of the letters, rather than that particular phrase being intentional.
I also suspect the same is true of Metroid...
"The dove's mothers are coming away" might technically be a grammatical sentence, but it also appears to be meaningless.

I also suspect the same is true of Metroid... You suspicions are correct. emuWorks created a program that can generate passwords for Metroid. They even have a guide explaining the password system. Can't say for sure about Kid Icarus, but I expect it's probably similar since it runs on a similar engine.

There's one that is on Youtube involving a downright insult to Nintendo. The passwords are probably randomly generated

The passwords aren't preprogrammed. Unless Nintendo created a password for every possible instance, which would likely take longer than making the actual game. I mean, think about it... they'd need to create a separate password for every possible combination of:
-location saved at -weapons collected -number of missiles -energy tanks collected -missile upgrades collected -doors opened -bosses beaten -suit worn -play time
The password is just a string of characters the game reads that information from. If entering your name puts you at Mother Brain with all weapons and a play time of 5 minutes, it doesn't mean Nintendo know who you are. It just means the game reads your name as that data.
