Wii? ......Ware. This is murdering Wii's memory.
This kind of environmental, soothing games look good. But the Wii Remote for movement thing... isn't that difficult?

Isn't it the same as the last game? You move Toku around with the Nunchuk, but you use the Wii Remote to cast wind and perform special moves. And no, it's not difficult to get the hang of... It's absolutely beautiful and absolutely AWESOME! ;D ;D ;D

So apparently the story will involve Toku's mother going missing and the Spirit of Seasons.
If I remember right, all the spirits hid as humans when the big bad re-emerged, and slowly forgot being spirits. How much would you bet Toku's mum will turn out to be one?

Just to smugly announce that today I was at Nintendo's WiiWare & DSi Ware Summit in London where LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias was playable for the first time ;D
I got my hands on it and talked to one of the developers about the game too!
Let me just say - if you loved the first game, this is more of the same with a more complex summer/winter mechanic that opens up all kinds of new puzzle-solving.
The game is said to be longer as well, to address the main concern with the first game (although not a concern I ever agreed with).

Lucky you. ^_^
Anyway, I'd like to try the first game out. Glad to hear that they haven't mettled with what was good about the original, and have added to it successfully. ^_^
