A lot's come out of TGS so far, so I'm going to compile news bits that relate to Nintendo systems here that I've posted on my blog. Feel free to comment or add to these. ^_^
First off, Okamiden’s got a new trailer, which you can check out here.
Secondly, Capcom announced a new game called Ghost Trick for the DS. Here's a trailer. For some reason, the still is giving me a Cowboy Bebop vibe…which is a GRAND thing. And it’s confirmed for a NA release already. Anyway, it sounds pretty nifty from its press release:
Ghost Trick combines mystery, logic puzzles and the supernatural into a new experience on Nintendo DS. Part adventure game, part puzzle game, Ghost Trick’s gameplay will challenge player’s brains while its distinctive art style and character designs courtesy of members of Capcom’s Ace Attorney® series, will please the eye. In Ghost Trick, players become Sissel, an amnesiac ghost who must use his ghostly powers to protect the lives of several people while attempting to uncover the secrets behind his own untimely demise. Sissel can “possess” items within the world, such as flicking a switch to shock an unwary assassin or floating a bike through the air to scare mortals and even rewind time by four minutes to prevent further deaths. Source.
This trailer blew me away. Looks very inventive, pouring with style, and smooth animation…God, Capcom’s on a great roll this TGS.
Speaking of the Ace Attorney series, here’s two trailers for Miles Edgeworth’s game.
Platinum Games’ Infinite Space has a new trailer. You’ll find a few screens if you follow the link above, too.
Again: Eye of Providence has been shortened to merely Again, and it looks like CING has another winner on their hands. The trailer here states a March 2010 release date, and if that’s a NA date, I’ll be all over it.
NIS America is bringing RED’s latest Sakura Wars title to America, finally. Here’s a trailer for the Wii version.
Level 5 and Studio Ghibli’s Ni no Kuni: The Another World sounds like a match made in heaven. Joystik comments that the Ghibli touch is raising the overall game experience beyond a fairly standard RPG, but it sure looks nice.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories impressions can be found here. I’m not reading them, because I want to be completely surprised when I play it.
That's what has caught my eye thus far (and hasn't been mentioned elsewhere).
