Band Bros. DX - Instrument dictionary

Making a new thread because it requires a bit of detective work.

In Band Bros. DX there is an "Instrument dictionary", which lists all of the instruments you've played all the way through in any song. Choosing an instrument displays a short description of it and plays a sample as well. Said sample is based on a tune from a Nintendo game.

Horn is from Super Metroid, not Zelda. I think it's Crateria Nope, it's the Main Theme from Super Metroid..
Flute is from Wind Waker.
The Japanese Drum Set is so familiar....I think it's from OoT, but I'm not sure.

You know what, the title screen theme DOES have a very similar backing bongo to the bongo set. This idea might have legs.

I have a second unverified theory - it also sounds like it could have come from Animal Crossing. I've completely forgotten most of the music from that game though

Me too, and that Japanese Drum Set is driving me crazy. It could also be from Animal Crossing, but I can't shake the feeling I heard the exact beat in Zelda.

Try listening to the two songs I suggested above. They both have a similar beat in the background. It's closest to the Koume and Kotake theme, but it's much much clearer in the Keaton theme.

My best guess for the bongo set may be K.K. Bossa from Animal Crossing but it doesn't sound that close.

Deezer had a correction for Electric Drum. It's actually Super Mario World - Vanilla Dome.
