The link's broken FryGuy64.
Anyway, here are some things to remember about Lou Albano:
The first episode (PART 1)
The first episode (PART 2)
There was also a theme song of his own, not to be confused with this one:

Aw. That's sad.
He also played Cyndi Lauper's father in the "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" music video.
(The quality isn't too good here, tho.)

Rest in peace, Captain Lou. I watched the show in 1995 before I even owned any game console.

Here is a funny Flash animation I found at NewGrounds titled "Mariohana", which plays the "Do The Mario" theme. Captain Lou Albano's right, "if you do drugs, you go to hell before you die........please": LINK

The music video doesn't work when embedded, but it can still be watched on YouTube when you click on the link inside it. Here is a better article that proves his death. If that link doesn't work try this. And "Do the Mario" in five styles: Electronic (in 3 speeds)G MajorReversed (in 3 speeds)Electronic + ReversedNormal, featuring Japanese Internet Meme, RAN RAN RU

Lou Albino is the best live-action Mario and will be sorely missed.

I never followed his wrestling or acting career, but I enjoyed seeing him in the Super Show. This was a fun picture from before Brawl was released which made me laugh: Rest in peace.

That's kind of sad. I imagine the bulk of the translation was Bill Trinen explaining Lou Albano's role in Mario history. Remember, it was nearly 20 years ago, and it's not obvious how far Miyamoto was involved or aware of the series.

Sad, but no surprise. I wonder if Miyamoto has even seen a full episode of this cartoon show that had virtually no significance for the audience in Japan?
