Ghhh. As much as Final Fantasy fans bother the hell out of me, I'm even more put off by Chrono Trigger. All it takes is one person to ruin the experience for you, and it doesn't help if you used to chat with that person on a daily basis and he won't shut the fuck up about it. So maybe not ever touching Chrono Trigger (or a Final Fantasy game) is an inverse guilty pleasure?
I loved playing Tetrisphere back in the N64 days. I'd probably buy it on the VC if Nintendo put N64 games on it more frequently and just happened to do Tetrisphere...

You can't not play something just because people hype the shit out of it. It's actually a considerable step above plenty of other JRPGs, and it doesn't even have any of that metaphor diahrrea you hate so much.

...Wii Sports. DON'T MOCK ME. The rest of the shovelware is just that, but Wii Sports was pretty fun to me.

I've been playing Final Fantasy games. There's nothing that makes me more ashamed of myself. A good game is a good game, brah. No matter how loud its fans are. It's not the fans or the series. I just have issues with RPGs in general.

What kind of issues? Did an RPG kill a loved one or something?

I've never been able to forgive RPGs since I was struck with the frustration of Final Fantasy VIII and banality of Golden Sun.

XD When I have less games to play, I might borrow a copy of Chrono Trigger DS if any of my friends have it, but lingering anti-Square nerdrage and contempt for aforementioned metaphor diarrhea is a powerful thing. And until that point I still maintain that Square fanboys are obnoxious twats. And hell, most fanboys. And furries. And yuppies. And hippies. And the morbidly obese. And the French. And Engineers and their fucking sentries. What the fuck, I hate everything equally. ;D

What the fuck, I hate everything equally. ;D That's the spirit! You are now ready to be promoted from "American" to "British". I will contact the embassy and have them collect you and your stuff. Don't hate the morbidly obese... RIDICULE them! This is a guilty pleasure outside of the world of games. Yo Mama so Fat jokes are old news. Today, being cruel means cutting to the very core of their inadequacies!

Ooh, I'd better get packing, then! I'll have to learn how to spell words with "ou" instead of just "o" as well as pick up on the local lingo. ;D Lorries, crisps and trousers, here I come! Yeah, I just so happen to be that ;D

Yeah, it clearly says "where self-expression reigns" in his Location. What else could that be but America? (Forgive me for being the forum's resident optimist.)

Well, everyone I've ever talked to about Sports has considered it mediocre at best, and my sport of choice in particular is generally panned: Boxing.

I guess Wii Sports is nothing if you play it in single player.
I don't think I've played that thing in 1P mode, so the game is good to me, I guess.
As a game, Wii Sports is not good at all with all the inaccurate physics and lack of actual control of the game. It's good for arousing the environment to make it some noisy, silly fun though.
