Worth what?
If I am asked, the charm of DSi would be the DSiWare part. Games like a re-release of KORG DS-10 also use DSi-specific functions (in this case, higher number of instrument channels).

Does the DSiWare actually have any games at this point, or is it still getting fractions of previously released games serving only as apps (and you're being charged for that shit)?

Alright, so here are my views on this. Considering I still don't have any sort DS what so ever, I might consider getting one of these, seeing as it has nicely sized screens. (I can't see for shit)
However, I am incredibly put off by the fact that, for starters, the only color i've seen for this thing is Early 70's Kitchen Brown. On top of that, the stylus looks like some kind of poop-flavored dildo.
God knows I don't wanna be seen on the bus poking a small laptop with a poop-flavored dildo.

Happy now? ;D

Aw, well, I suppose it is a bit more pen-like than I thought. And I like how it still comes with the old one too.
Still, the fact that the Brown Model exists annoys me. Because i'm weird like that.

All you need is Flipnote Studio and a few of the Art Style games and you're set. But the internet connectivity is both the biggest thing about the DSi, and also it's biggest problem (it's connection security if much more strict than the DS Lite's Wi-Fi, which causes many problems)

I started off by saying that I don't think I would be able to play games like those before realizing I have no idea what they're about. God, Nintendo's internet-paranoia is so frustrating. I wish there was an option to just disable the security stuff that was so cleverly hidden that any curious grannies or retarded kids couldn't find it. I want to be able to connect to people without having to enter five friend codes and then not being able to talk to them, thankyouverymuch. XD

Flipnote Studio is an animation program, rather than a game.
Art Style is a blanket label for a line of really alternative style games of various old-fashioned genres, mostly of the puzzler variety.

Basically, Flipnote Studio is a FREE animation utility with a whole social networking site behind it. You can download animations, upload them to the Hatena website where they can be faved and commented.
While what you can create is a bit basic (you are limited to two layers, and four colours, including black & white), the rest of the tools are surprisingly advanced for such a bit of free software.
As for ArtStyle, I loved Orbient on WiiWare (and earlier on GBA) and I have downloaded a load of others. They're nearly all puzzle games. GENIUS puzzle games! It's just a shame I haven't managed to play 'em all yet!
