You have to wonder if this is a slight dig at Nintendo, trying to drive them to make their next console more powerful graphically. As much as I like to think I'm not a graphics whore, the upgrade here really makes a difference to the style and tone of the game.
The epic scope of the game was significantly hampered by the fact the Wii's lack of power left the game a bit... empty.

I can already imagine PS3 owners angrily flailing their sixaxis controllers around. PS: I bought the Wii original a good while ago, but didn't even unwrap it yet  Spending most of my free time playing PC games these days... |

I liked the bit I played of this a while ago. This remake looks nice, but I'll probably stick with the Wii version. The Wii sequel looks promising, though!
