This is somewhat related - UDON has finally pegged a date for their Official Complete Works books on Mega Man and Mega Man X (the two series are in two separate titles) - December 23rd. I've been wondering when this was going to happen, as I deeply want the MM one, and will plan an order for one ASAP.  Here's some sample pages. |

It's impossible to find the Mega Man classic one for order right now, which is a shame. UDON shoulda opened up the option for pre-ordering.

There's no proof either way. I'm figuring that Parrot was goofing around with his MUGEN video he posted, but ultimately we as of right now have no idea who the third character will be. Let's look at what we have learned thus far, and how it relates to Bass and Roll:
Bass was mentioned in MM9, and has been a recurring character since his inclusion in MM7. He would make the most sense as the third character, but no one has gone on record to say that is the case.
Roll is involved in the plot - she's gotten the disease that's affecting robots. She may play a role (ha!) in the game beyond that (the other robots infected with this virus are going berserk, so why not her?), but we don't know for certain if she'll be any more involved than what we already know.
If Man-Frog's wrong, then he's wrong. And there's nothing wrong with that. I feel Bass has the best chances, but I could be off-base in that assumption. It could be Duo from MM8. It could be Zero, crossing MM universes to enter this one. It could be Akuma. I don't have a clue. But there is no need to start ripping into people because they're guessing what will happen. What happens is in Capcom's hands.

Crud. Well then it's either Bass or Zero. If it comes down to that I hope it's Bass.
Actually, it would be kinda funny if it turned out to be Dr. Light or something. ;D

There's a rumour floating around that it's Bass who's playable via, you guessed it, DLC.
I think it came from the same source that stated Protoman would be playable from the start before the Capcom officially released the info.
..By the way I like that they're using those fireballs from Megaman 1 again. They seem to pop up here and there a lot too now, like those mets. I can't help but think they're wearing sunglasses, trying to be BADASS FIREBALLS.

Somewhat off topic, but I noticed they used Oil Man's more PC design in the Complete Works book. Made me lol. Also, 8bit, they're called Tackle Fires. MM9 had a boss made of them! |

Oh hell yes, TEi. I doubt it, but hell yes. And I'm not surprised Oil Man's the NA rendition over his JP original in the book. Not in the slightest. |

Okay, here are some possible ones that can be playable character #3 that we already mentioned:
* Bass (Mega Man 7)
* Roll (Mega Man 1)
* Dr. Wily (Mega Man 1)
* Duo (Mega Man 8)
* Doropie (Magical Kids Doropie) / Francesca (The Krion Conquest)
Who else is possible? I'm guessing the next one is a brand-new character.
