It's been a while since I last finished any art, but I've got the doodle bug again and I wanted to start an Art Jam here.
The 8-bit days of gaming were awesome, but this wasn't always helped by the amateur boxart designs of the day. It's a miracle that Mega Man ever sold more than a handful of copies with its horrendous boxart! But those were more forgiving days, when the box was as likely to be thrown away as kept. In more recent times, one hopes they could do better
And so, for this art jam, I'd like you to update the boxart for an old game so it could sit alongside today's games with pride. How you do it is up to you! You could try to update the design on an old piece of boxart, or perhaps come up with a whole new design.
