Here is a video developer diary for the Wii version of Forgotten Sands. It includes footage of the game. It doesn't seem too bad from a gameplay standpoint.

New gameplay trailer for the Wii version. I've been replaying Sands of Time lately due to this new game and the movie coming out next month. Forgotten Sands doesn't seem to quite have the tone of the original game, and still looks like it's going for a little bit of a "badass" vibe. But maybe it's not quite to the same extent as Warrior Within. (I haven't done a comparison.) I won't hold that against it, tho. And at least it has the original voice actor. And as Wildcat pointed out in the other thread, the SNES version of PoP is included as a Wii-exclusive bonus. On a side note, it's nice that the Wii gets those extra little perks, like when Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis was included with Staff of Kings. That's a trend I'd love to see continue!

4-hit combo! Here is a free Forgotten Sands flash game that's kind of a fun time-sink.

5-hit slo-mo combo! According to GoNintendo, you can unlock the Prince from the original Sands of Time. Good news for those of you who still think he has too much generic rage.

....BREAKER! I saw that, and I think they've realized how terrible an idea it was to ditch the personality of the Prince in Sands of Time with the badass mofo prince of Warrior Within, so they're offering appeasements. The reviews have been quite positive for this, so I'm considering it.

I was pretty doubtful about this game because the Two Thrones bored me too much, so I was waiting for a Review to hear the Pros and Cons. With all the unlockable content, fun looking puzzles and it just looking awesome, I've added it to the list of games I'm hoping to get this year
At least I've already gotten WarioWare: D.I.Y. and I will be receiving Monster Hunter Tri tomorrow, so at least my list is progressing smoothly ^_^

Well, then, I don't know what to say. XD That man RUINED the franchise in my opinion. If I do get the game, I guarantee I will not use him.
