I wonder if Hydro Pump, Flamethrower and Solar Beam could be a combination? they were the three final attacks for the original trio, and the Triple Finish in Brawl.

I'm sure it will be extremely limited to what moves can be combined.

Those ones would be pretty cool especially in triple battles but I find them somewhat unsynergic... During regular weather, SolarBeam is the one hard to pull off. Then if you choose to make it sunny, Hydro Pump becomes the problematic one.

Perhaps those effects would be negated by the presence of the other moves? Like, because you're using Hydro Pump, Fire Blast, and Solar Beam together, they work together as a sort of "The great amount of fire in Fire Blast works to power the Solar Beam" or whatever. So the moves create their own synergy.

Well yeah. It was more proof-of-concept than anything. I could see it cropping up, though it would be less likely than other move-combos.
Here's a question I must ask: If this is the case, and moves pair off with other moves, for example, Oaths of Fire and Grass, what happens when it hits Sudowoodo? Remember, Rock resists Fire, but it's weak to Grass. Does it take normal damage? And what about a hypothetical damaging Water/Grass combo? How would Onix stand up to that? Would they both hit? Or how about a hypothetical Ice/Grass? How would that work on Altaria? This will be a pretty interesting addition, I can say that much, but I'd like to learn more.

Well, so far, they're about added effects more than real match-up combinations. I bet the latter won't happen and that the damage will be separate like in traditional double battles.

The combo effect sounds pretty awesome, but yeah I have a feeling this will be applied to just a small selection of attacks. Still this'll make double/triple battles a lot more interesting.
Also triple and rotation battles seem like the best new additions in a looong time. Will be hard to go back to 1 on 1 afterwards.

Two thoughts:
1. I think the combo attacks are a FANTASTIC idea, but as far as damage output maybe a bit wonky. I think it'll work like casting Gravity in Crystal Chronicles, where you had to combine two elemental spells to get a non-damaging elemental effect. In other words, separately the Oaths deal damage; together, they become an "Effect" move. No issue with who gets what damage in that situation.
2. 1v1 needs to be fixed, esp since the multi battles get all the new toys this gen. Make 1v1 emphasized in unique ways over the others, mostly by unbreaking shit like Stealth Rock and Pursuit to really play up that 1v1 = switching! 1v1s are really, really REALLY hurt by entry hazards and bullshit things like a Weavile's STAB Technician Pursuit. Seriously.

God, the concept of joint moves sounds like the Program Advances in Megaman Battle Network: powerful as hell and decisive blows, but they're optional and very situational. You'd need the right combination of moves to even bother with them, which means intentionally organizing your team for double battles - and we don't even know if the moves are any good alone. For all we know, the Oath moves just lower a stat one grade.
Not that I'm complaining about it, I think it's kind of cool, but it's probably not something I'm going to use.

They should remake Teleport so it switches Pokémon without receiving damage/status from hazards or all the good and bad stuff that Baton Pass passes Another fun thing would be a Whirlwind-like move that affects both the target and the user.

So, Teleport would be like a safe switch?
That Whirlwind-esque move idea sounds pretty fun. It'd really screw with the game. Imagine: You use it, and both you and your opponent end up switching in a Magikarp or something stupid like that. "MAGIKARP, USE A SPLASH ATTACK!" "Magikarp, use Hyper Beam! ...What the fuck do you mean you don't know Hyper Beam? J-just use Splash attack." "Magikarp, get out of the way of that Splash attack! Very good Magikarp, now counterattack with your own Splash attack!" Totally worth it.

Hey I have something fun to do. Why not give some unofficial English names to the Pokemon revealed to us?
Oh, and it seems these days that all Pokemon have to be a portmanteau of some kind. However in Gen 1 there were a few Pokemon that were simply a unique way of spelling one word or rearranging the name of an animal. Seel is a good example, with Chansey and Onix. So don't be surprised if I follow a few of those examples.
Here's what I've named so far...
Tsutaja: "Slyvie" Combination of Sly and Ivy.
Chillarmy: "Chillarmy" The same.
Musharna: "Slumblur" Slumber and Blur.
Gear: "Gearo"
Shimama: "Zapra" C'mon it's too obvious!
Minezumi: "Chekmunk" Check and chipmunk.
Miruhoggu: "Meerhog" Meercat and Groundhog.
Wargle: "Freagle" Besides War we love talking about "Freedom"
Gigaiasu: "Gigaia"
Emonga: "Emonga"
Okay so some of those are the same. But hey they work!

New footage in commercials.
Things shown: - Some sort of Zekrom-looking skeleton - Mole shown evolving into the other mole-like Pokémon - There's some slopes while surfing that allow you to jump - "Iris", the new girl in the anime is also in the game - Trainer N appears as a child in some scenes - Awesome animations of the mascot legendaries like it's traditional - Pokabu has a move called Heat Stamp

Serebii has a POSSIBLE leak of the starter evolved forms.
I hope the pig ones are real. They're very cool and Wind Waker-esque.
