New cat Pokémon shown in an TV Tokyo ad (to the right of Zekrom). The pink mammal-like Pokémon that was previously seen only in screenshots is to the left of the left-most cartoon character. Pokéxperto, the site many other news sites are trusting (the one which swears the starter evolutions are real), is claiming that the total of 5th-generation Pokémon is going to be 156 counting Victini.

Famitsu gave the games a perfect score. That's pretty impressive when you consider how notoriously hard nosed Famitsu is.

They're really not any more though, the amount of stuff that gets 40/40 is pretty high recently.

Might that then mean that games are starting to be much better than before?? (-lwl-) I'd really expect that. But PKMN-game getting 10/10?! I'd wanna get this now. My expectations of this game being just more milking up the PKMN-series is gone.

An interview with Ken Sugimori seems to confirm those starter evolutions WERE fake after all.

That information tickles! Yeah, otter 2's part that is colored blue in the mysterious photos resembles samurai clothing somehow. Some info via PokéBeach: Isshu is based off New York according to the original beta cover of Pokemon Peer, a special one-off Pokemon issue. The circled text below says, "Our adventure's setting is New York?!" Many fans have speculated for a while that Isshu is based off somewhere in America, drawing from the far-away setting, to American-themed Pokemon like Wargle and Victini, to Black people and football players present in the games. Pokemon Peer will be released in Japan this Friday and hopefully we'll discover more background information in its interviews!
I take it that's the same magazine where they are describing the starters. More info could surface pretty soon ^_^

I think some of those things might be a little mixed up. I figured the "Grey Version Mascot" would be a Dragon Ice type but wouldn't it come immediately after Reshiram and Zekrom?

Giratina wasn't next to Dialga or Palkia either. Pokémon fan sites keep trusting Pokéxperto, whose staff has supposedly seen a majority of the new Pokémon's sprites.

Weren't they the guys who made the Dialga look-alike Final-evo for the otter?
