The February 2010 issue of Nintendo Dream came with an awesome Zelda art book . Luckily for those of us outside of Japan, the guys at Zelda Power have scanned the entire thing. About 100 pages of art that ranges from the original game to Spirit Tracks is available for viewing.

I would LOVE to see an official art book beyond a magazine...but I'll take what I can get! Thanks for sharing!

Now that's amazing. I didn't even know that Majora's Mask had so much art (for example, the Clock Town.) I'll definitely be saving that link.

Oh, this is ballin'. Soon as I get the chance, I'm going to gorge myself on sweet, sweet, Zelda conceptual art.
(I should do the same with my Disgaea 2 and Megaman Zero artbooks first, seeing as I've owned both for over a year and have opened neither...)

That's a great collection.
It's a shame I never noticed Kaepora showed a different face when he rotated his head.
The Oracle artworks are interesting because of the amount of trading sequence NPCs, including the cameos of Mr. Wright and Mario characters. And I hate those feet! I never understood why Nayru and Din were drawn so prettily but with 2-toed feet (although it wasn't only them as we can see).

If there was a proper Zelda art book, I hope they'd expand on the first two games. Just because artwork is a bit crap doesn't mean it isn't frickin' awesome! I love the Mega Man artbooks for that. They are completist, including as much art as they can. They even have huge scans of the horrible international art. The Legend of Zelda had: - Amazing cover art with animation cel style illustrations (which, as we now know, were indeed animation cels, used for the animated commercial) - Silly little Link cartoons throughout, very sketchy. - Grotesque enemy artwork. All three are clearly by different artists, but all three are used internationally. I'd want to see a full collection.

Hey, there's also Oni Link to be found there. (-lwl-)
These all are gorgeus... But for some reason I'm most attracted to Link's Awakening-art. (-lwl-)b

I'm with you there. I've always really liked the art of Link's Awakening for some reason.

Hmm, I could have sworn there was Phantom Hourglass boss artwork.
Oh well, guess they couldn't get everything imaginable into it.
