Here's the Mega Man quote. I disagree on Mega Man's heavy modifying to become a fighter, myself, but the possibility of Phoenix Wright being DLC and Frank West being benched kind of makes up for it. I'd rather see Franziska von Karma represent the Ace Attorney series, as she is a little more violent than Phoenix, but any representation for the series is good enough. West was interesting in TvC, but I don't quite understand the fascination Capcom has with him. He's a pretty regular joe in a cavalcade of awesome Capcom heroes. Sentinel was reportedly deconfirmed too, flying in the face on our leading leaker, so we'll see who's right on that one (I hope Niitsuma is not lying, because I hate Sentinel XD ).

I already had a ton of awesome move ideas for Phoenix Wright thought up a long time ago. Most involved him summoning evidence from hammerspace and beating people up with it (Thinker Clock).

If they can add spear chucking Arthur then I can't see what the big deal is with giving Megaman close combat moves too, but ohwell.

West was interesting in TvC, but I don't quite understand the fascination Capcom has with him. According Seth Killian on a Destructoid podcast from last year: For better or for worse, (Capcom of) Japan has understood that 'the West' likes Frank. So maybe that's why he's called Frank West? I don't know... Rightly or wrongly (Capcom of) Japan is convinced that Joe Six pack here in America love God d*mn Frank West. He will be making appearances in as many games as they can get him into. It sounds like he was manufactured specifically for American/European audiences.

I've read that before, but I still don't get it. Sounds like Killian doesn't, either.

Well, like I said, it sounded like he was manufactured specifically to be their "American" character. That is, they wanted to create a character that they could market to American audiences, and now they want to push him on us whether we like it or not. It was similar with Crimson Viper in Street Fighter IV. She was specifically designed, with help from Capcom USA, to appeal to American players. And then Yoshinori Ono was puzzled when he heard that American players preferred Abel. Isn't it cute when Japan thinks they understand American tastes better than America does? (As if Americans know what they want.)

Ugh... C. Viper has that stupid Fergie hairstyle. Of course I like Abel better, but it's only because he has the same voice actor as Principal Ench from Shin Chan.

I won't deny that the pompadour + french braid thing is...unique. And by unique I mean the only thing that I don't like about the character, and I dislike it to the point where I neither find her sexy nor take her seriously.
Maybe that's just me being unfamiliar with her, but still.
Also, no Frank West? Balls! Fingers crossed that he and Phoenix become DLC characters (and that MvC3 sells well enough to warrant them). Unlike Sonic Toot Toot Racing, which only sold well enough to give us Metal Sonic, one new level, and an alternate car for Ryo...sigh.

EDIT - I'll one-up you, Qu, and post this link that pretty much confirms Sentinel and Hsien-Ko are in there. Looks like the leaker was spot-on! Capcom needs to tighten up their information next go-around, that's for sure.

Can that image be shrunk/turned into a URL? It's stretching the page liek woah. Also! The full intro to the game has been leaked or some such. It's a beastie, clocking in at over four minutes long, and can be seen here!
