Anyone agree with ScrewAttack's wishlist? www.gametrailers.com/video/top-10-screwattack/64935I don't agree with most of it, especially Mickey Mouse. Just because Disney bought Marvel, doesn't mean Mickey can be a Marvel character. However, in X-Men: Children of the Atom, the SSF2T version of Gouki/Akuma appeared as an unlockable character, opening the doors for Capcom to create X-Men VS. Street Fighter and the rest of the MVC series. But that idea was inspired by SNK using Ryo Sakazaki in Fatal Fury Special as a secret final boss, which lead SNK in creating KOF94 and the rest of the KOF series. I'd rather see as many protagonists (and I guess some main villains) as possible, like Cyber Blue (Battle Circuit), Lou & Siva (Three Wonders), Arthur (Knights of the Round), Ninja Hanamaru (Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru), either Clevic or Fighter (The King of Dragons), Chiki Chiki Boy 1P & 2P (Chiki Chiki Boys), and Lee Wong (Tiger Road). Demitri from DarkStalkers also deserves to be in there. He's like Ray McDougal from the Fighter's History series and any Pokemon Trainer (like Red/Ash Ketchum/Satoru for example). They are all three protagonists that became less important than the secondary characters, Morrigan, Makoto Mizoguchi and Pikachu. These secondary characters are probably also the mascots of their franchises, due to appearing in more spin-offs than the protagonists.

^ I think that list was partially meant to be a joke.
I think I'm one of about three people that liked SonSon in MvC2. But then, I tend to gravitate towards cute, goofy characters. I'd like to see her appear in another Vs. fighting game, be it Marvel or Tatsunoko.

I want the Mexican cactus to return. He was bloody awesome.
Other than that, lessee. On the Marvel side, Thor and Punisher for sure. Captain Marvel for an outside chance, Mar-Vell preferred. Power Man and Iron Fist would be very cool as well. Danny Rand vs. Ryu= awesome.
On the Capcom side, Mayor Hagger, Rad Spencer, Amatersu, Viewtiful Joe, Arthur, and my longshot: Maximo. I dug the hell out of that series.

I think Sonson would be a better fit with Tatsunoko, if they decide to continue that series. The direction Capcom's taking MvC3 would be a little too dark for her, methinks, but she'd be perfect alongside Gatchaman and Yatterman. I'd like to think Amingo will be locked in a closet and never set free upon the world again. He wasn't received very well. Maximo's possible - I've heard Capcom's focusing on more recent heroes, and Maximo is only one generation back.

Maximo being my longshot has less to do with his obscurity and unsuccessful, BTW, and more to do with the fact that Arthur is a pretty good chance. Maximo is just an updated Arthur, after all.

I'm expecting Arthur as well, but Maximo was different enough from him to be a candidate. They did wield different weapons, after all.

Other than Maximo being unsuccesful, Arthur's way more recognisable. Either way I'd be pretty pissed if Maximo got in before my favorite beardo

I don't really need to make a "hopefuls" list for Marvel. The modern super hero and I are at odds; Deadpool is really the only one I follow out of both mainstream companies, and he's already in. So, yay.
I should put together a list of the Capcom characters I want in this, though...Ammy and Franza, yes, but I want Viewtiful Joe, Frank West and Zero to make their comebacks, too.

Disney vs. Capcom would be awesome. I mean, since Disney bought Marvel and Capcom is still making Marvel vs. Capcom games, why not a Disney vs. Capcom game? Capcom used to make some awesome Disney games for the NES and SNES and I think it would be like coming to a full circle of sorts. Well, that or a Disney fighting game with nothing but Disney characters.

TEi - Frank is all but confirmed at this point. Beyond that, though, I'd like to see the two Vs. series keep their characters as separate as possible, personally. Ryu, Chun, Morrigan and Frank are close to 1/4 of TvC's Capcom roster, and I don't want to see any more than that cross over into Marvel's side. It'll make the TvC roster less exciting if too many of them pop up in both. 8bit - That's true. I like to think Arthur is going to get his chance here - he was practically in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, complete with stage, until they cut him out.

I picked up Daredevil: Born Again at my comic shop on their Free Comic Book Day sale. Makes me realize I really want Daredevil in the game. He's one of Marvel's big guns, after all.
