I picked up Daredevil: Born Again at my comic shop on their Free Comic Book Day sale. Makes me realize I really want Daredevil in the game. He's one of Marvel's big guns, after all. Indeed. The TMNT were not only inspired by him, but also Batman and the X-Men.

It's a bit more clearcut than that- the Turtles were a straightup send up of Matt in their first issue. The Foot are a parody of the Hand, Shredder Gladiator and Splinter Stick.
Hell, the Ooze that mutated the turtles came from the truck that blinded Matt Murdock. So, little to no Batman and X-Men in there.

^ This Parrot, is why you shouldn't keep posting your observations and assumptions as if they were fact. Just advising.

Batman*cough* You got it backwards. Daredevil's first appearance was 1964. Batman's was 1939. Just sayin'. (I may not like the contemporary hero, but I used to be a tremendous Bat-fan. Also, a lot of DC's franchises were created loooong before Marvel even came along.) (Yes, I was one of those DC-is-better-than-Marvel fans. So I guess it's ironic that the only hero I really like at the moment is a Marvel character?)

You misread it- Parrot was saying the Turtles were inspired by the X-Men and Batman, which isn't right.
On topic: Bullseye would be a cool addition too. Think about it: a fully ranged character in a Street Fighter based fighting game?

Well, what I meant was: SourceI compared them to Batman, because both were pretty dark, but not always.

I'm a bit wary of that, because Eastman and Laird have always said the concept came when Eastman drew a Ninja Turtle as a doodle, and the rest came from there.
On topic: Who do you guys think the final boss will be? A new character, ala Abyss, or an existing character?

On topic: Who do you guys think the final boss will be? A new character, ala Abyss, or an existing character? The final boss should be Apocalypse. Or a combination of Apocalypse and...maybe Tyrant.

Ashtaroth was actually one of the big bads in Namco X Capcom, along with Druaga. If he does get in as final boss I should hope Arthur is in there as playable first.

Deadpool uses his life bar as a weapon? That has got to be the most hilarious thing ever.
So I take it Deadpool is this game's "joke" character?

I don't think he'll be "weak" in the sense most joke characters (Dan, for example) are, but he'll be doing some goofy stuff akin to his appearances in the comics.
