This is silly. Arthur could take on Kratos all by himself. Sure, they both fight monsters in their underwear, but Arthur is so hardcore that he doesn't even need a health meter! Kratos is such a pansy.  Oh, looks cool, BTW! Good work, Teev. |

Thought I'd show you guys what the background is going to look like. What I've done so far has been put into the first post. I'm still refining it because it kind of looks like shit, but that's the basic premise.

Just to let you guys know, I have NOT abandoned this. I'm just in the process of re-drawing a couple characters whose poses I don't like (Phoenix Wright, Jin, and Arthur).
I'm also working on a couple other projects so this might take awhile...

So, yeah. I did quit this. I didn't think my art was good enough to do the characters any justice. Needless to say, I have improved DRASTICALLY. My above sketches? Utter crap. I'm taking a break from Hidden Depths to re-do this and hopefully make it look as awesome as I wanted to from the start. My last drawing was too stiff, I want the characters to look like they're about to jump off the page. I hope I'm achieving that effect so far!  |

You can definitely see a huge improvement in artwork. I'm still stuck in an art rut... So I'm just going to watch you do this and stew about how much younger and more talented you are than me  Unless you have any tips? |

And since I'm guessing you're drawing these poses mostly from memory... well that's just damn amazing. Hopefully you can keep it going and finish it this time ^I think the leaping dude's supposed to be the most badass of badass city mayors |

I always see YOU as better than me, your style has influenced mine somewhat. Always consider yourself shit and you'll be able to continue improving. That's what I do. Also, the characters I draw are made up of squares, ovals, and triangles. After that I just add in a few details. You'd be amazed how much simple shapes make drawings look that much better... They're just poses I make up on the fly.
