What are the signature rules here?

As in, can you have links in your signature and what are the image dimensions allowed for signature banners?

You can indeed have links in your signature.

There aren't strict rules for dimensions, but they were talked about right here.

Basic sig image rules:
Recommended: 500 x 100-150 pixels
Absolute Maximum: 750 x 300 pixels

These are still just guidelines. The idea is to stop people having images that stretch the screen or mean you have to scroll through it to get to the next post. If you're not sure, then drop me a PM to ask.

My "constant" here (and the reason the image dimensions are different to the post Johans linked to) is Old Man Rupee, who has been putting "Wondermark" comic strips in his sig at 720 x 278 pixels - they don't stretch the page, they aren't distracting, they're hilarious, and he updates them once in a while... and I am happy with that... but if you can stick to the recommended size then you won't hear a peep.

As for links... links are allowed in sigs to your website, blog, Facebook/Twitter/etc. group, yadda yadda yadda... I think the only restriction on links is that you're not allowed to create a new thread that basically says "everybody come to my forum instead!!!"

Which leads me to a question I'd never thought of before. Knowing we're a mature, responsible lot ( ;D ), what about porn, or links to porn, in signatures?
