I read Wuhu Island was spotted in Pilotwings and Mario Kart. Keep that in mind for the cameo lists. (c'mon Conker's Bad Fur Day and online Pokemon Stadium...) Pokemon Stadium Remake with online "Remake of Pokémon Stadium for 3DS"... That idea can't be compared with Star Fox 64 or Ocarina of Time which I assume would keep the core tales of the original games. Pokémon Stadium games weren't story-driven games as much as connectivity games for interacting with the Pokémon you caught in your GB versions, in addition to be themed after the Pokémon, Gym Leaders, and mechanics of that era's portable games. Funny thing is, if it were made, it would also be a portable game (3DS!) so how would one import the Pokémon from the main games? By being forced to own two handheld systems?? That just doesn't sound practical. And rental-only gameplay wouldn't be a real Pokémon game anymore. Speaking of Star Fox 64... It would be cool if it included the adventures of the original Star Fox team as a bonus content.

I've always wanted to see an entire game about James, Peppy and Pigma's adventures. That could've been the basis for a new Star Fox game all this time, but noooo.

Wuhu Island is the setting of Pilotwings, so I think it's more than a cameo... It might be best to dual brand this as a Wii Sports game and a Pilotwings game- it's clearly a successor to WSR.

Well actually, I meant a revised Pokemon Stadium. It would most likely have a Pokemon Black and White storyline. If people have a 3DS and a regular DS they could probably transfer their Pokemon. Otherwise, Nintendo could always think of something. They're like a bunch of Japanese Einsteins.

Still seems awkward. Unless they decide to scrap the current Black & White programming and make a main series game for a home console, I don't see a Stadium 3DS coming along.
Speaking of, why have they not done this yet?

Anybody else surprised at the lack of a Mario title?

Anybody else surprised at the lack of a Mario title? Uh, Mario Kart 3DS and Paper Mario 3DS? Know I haven't posted in awhile, but with all this E3 Hype, I couldn't resist coming back. An Ocarina of Time Remake? This should be fun. :3

If it's not just another OoT. Much as I love the games, if this is an OoT remake, I expect some new stuff on top of the oldness.

Well, I meant a "canon" Mario game. It seems like a big N64 love fest- Pilotwings, OoT, Starfox,Paper Mario, Mario Kart. But a platform Mario is conspicuously missing.

They didn't mention a DSiWare-like service, right? Speaking of, why have they not done this yet? You mean a main series game on a home console? Masuda maintains that one of the central concepts in Pokémon is the trading and that it's most easily done with portable systems. I guess it's one of those things we'll never see changing.

The Wii has Internet, so I can't believe that's it. Oh well.

I don't want anything to do with a new Pokemon Stadium game until they make new models for the 1gen and 2gen Pokemon. It's been two generations since the N64, so there's no fucking excuse to not update the damn things.
Besides, why make a portable online-capable Pokemon Stadium when you can just forgo the whole transferring/renting Pokemon teams and, you know, use the main series Pokemon carts instead? I'm not one for competitive Pokemon battling, but I sure as hell would rather play straight out of my SoulSilver or Platinum games rather than go through the whole transfer mess.

After thinking in the technical possibilities of that, I just remembered this thing everybody is wondering about regarding Pokémon Black & White (the ability to upload your save file) Perhaps it could be used for connectivity with other side games if they wanted.

Yeah, but the 3D battles of Pokemon Stadium are awesome.
