I've been mentioning HAL because, you know, they do carry a unique graphical and otherwise overall feel of the atmosphere. Suffice to say, I like Kirby because of HAL (moreso than Masahiro Sakurai). That said, the graphics in Epic Yarn is not unlike HAL's work, so that's good.
I still play Ultra regularly now. And Arcadenik, I'd highly suggest you consider the DS remake instead in Super Star's case. Ultra is one of the very few remakes that I like, because of the largely unchanged gameplay and the newer modes.

Now we have a second NA trailer. Only shows a bit new here and there but otherwise nothing we haven't seen before. www.nintendoeverything.com/49404/The introduction could've been better without dramatizing the game (until we hear Kirby's voice, of course), It didnt blend well. Still a good trailer though.

King Dedede looks cute! I do wonder if Meta Knight is in it. I'm also curious about who that blue guy with the crown. He seems to be a second playable character.

He's Prince Fluff, and he IS a second playable character.

Yay! Epic Yarn is neither Metaless nor Dededeless!
I'll have to say, this game now looks like it's better than what I expected.

Can't wait for this. I haven't been this psyched about a Kirby game in years.

Did I say that last time? XD My memory is so bloody shot.

Interesting, turns out Epic Yarn wasn't originally a Kirby game, it featured a completely original character. www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/10/07/iwata_asks_kirby/- Kirby's Epic Yarn was developed in Good Feel's Tokyo office - this is Good Feel's third project with Nintendo - the game was originally set to be called Keito no Fluff, or Fluff's Yarn - it was going to star a character named Fluff, and would take place in a world known as "World of Yarn" - the original idea for the World of Yarn came from the director of Wario Land Shake, Madoka Yamauch - the original design document was intended to show off the yarn concept and a world with "warmth" - the design document's visuals were made by Kouno alongside a Mr. Shinsaku, head of Good Feel's design department - the design team brought in various cloth items and even touched various yarn - Matsuyama was shocked when he saw just the first page of the document, as he had never seen a game like this before - the staff spent three months working on a prototype - when the prototype was finished, the team felt that something wasn't right - Watanabe, a more casual gamer when it comes to action games, didn't find the first couple of stages too fun - in Summer of 2009, Nintendo proposed that this title become a Kirby game - Ebisu wasn't sure if he wanted to put Kirby in the game, as the people who'd made the original character would presumably like to have that character make it into the final product - Ebisu found it very persuasive when Kirby was put into the game, and helped breathe new life into the project Good thing they put in Kirby. Yeah, It would've been great to have a new IP and character but a new Kirby console game was needed badly and HAL gave up on the 2.5D game a long time ago for whatever reasons. I would however though like to know how different the original was before it became a Kirby game, they don't mention here of what game mechanics were in place before Kirby's inclusion or how much his inclusion altered the original design. Here is also new gameplay footage, musical samples and a great musical performance. gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=138484
