To be honest, I only fully read one issue. I've caught some chunks out of spontaneous issues, and they've all been fun, but it's always been at random book-stores when I can't buy it for financial reasons, meaning "Fuck being poor."

As much as I love superheroes in general, I've never had the money to actually buy comics. I rarely bother with the movies, either. But I do occasionally read what's been happening in comics online. I tend to be more into the storylines and characters DC have, but more into the artwork Marvel has.
But, rather than DC or Marvel, I choose to vote Batman. Not DC, just Batman.

Yeah, I don't really buy individual comics, it works out cheaper to get the collected paperbacks of my favourite stories and then fill in any gaps using Wikipedia entries! I am well up to date on many backstories thanks to the wiki ;D
At the moment, my fave series is Marvel Runaways. Its got great storylines, with characters that react believably to stuff! I'm still catching up with the paperbacks, I'm currently at "Live Fast". Highly recommended!

I am more into DC. I like Teen Titans and Batman the most, also Superman and Justice League. I usually read collected paperbacks related to these. I also like the lighter side of DC so I read individual issues of Super Friends, Tiny Titans, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. For the mature side, I go for collected paperbacks of Fables and Jack of Fables.

We have the first 13 volumes of Fables here (and the first two Jack of Fables), but I haven't started reading them yet. I'm working my way through Bone right now. That is an awesome comic.

I'm also going to with DC. It seems to me that there's a lot more variety in DC than there is in Marvel. I've always marked that up to the fact that Stan Lee was the one behind some many of the more popular creations.
Don't get me wrong though. I like some of Marvel's more well-known characters like Spider-Man and the X-Men.

Hell, I just love how unique all the Marvel characters are. I also have a feeling Raven's (Teen TItans) history was taken from Nightcrawler. Both were born to demon fathers, but Nightcrawler had Mystique as a mother.
The only other DC character besides Batman who I can say I find interesting is Plastic Man. I remember reading one of his graphic novels once and I found it to be pretty funny. I don't know if it was some one time comic, but if Plastic Man is continuously funny, then I'll give him a break for his gayer than gay costume.
Speaking of costumes, I also have to say Marvel characters have cooler costumes than DC's. Martian Manhunter's speedo/cape combo has NOTHING on Gambit's trench coat.

Nightcrawler's demonic parentage wasn't brought up until 2004 or so- originally, Mystigue was his father.
And that is the way it is now, again. And the Manhunter now has pants, thank God.

I used to be into DC, and my ultimate disarming Anti-Marvel comment was just to say, "Clone Saga."
Though in hindsight, as much of an abominate nightmare the Clone Saga was, DC has also dropped the ball pretty hardcore. Right now, I can't stand comic books - not even indy titles! In both Marvel and DC, I only have one favorite hero who has withstood the test of time and shitty comic book writing (Deadpool and Plastic Man), and other than them, I don't really bother.
Though I still dig Batman cartoons for the most part. Batman: The Animated Series was an absolute classic, Batman Beyond had some strong points, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold is awesome.

This is difficult considering I like Heroes from both Marvel and DC. For eaxmple DC- Superman (Christopher Reeves movies mainly) and for Marvel X-,Men and Iron Man
