Hello guys.. I looked all over the Internet for a solution, but found nothing useful. Well, I recently purchased a new Wii with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zelda Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy from www.dealrocker.com/promotions/macmall/deals/. All the games are working pretty fine except Super Mario Galaxy. Whenever I get to the first cutscene where Bowser shows up and some UFO thing appears, my Wii freezes always at the exact same spot. I have tried putting the Wii in a different position and cleaning the disc, but had no success. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's tuff to say. It's interesting that it's only happening with one game. Have you tried getting a replacement copy? Also, you could try asking at Nintendo's official tech support forums, or send them an email.

I'd suggest contacting Nintendo if cleaning the disc did not work - it's possible you have gotten a defective disc. Hopefully it'll not be an issue to get a replacement!

Yes yes! I thought I was the only one who had this problem.
I always beat my games twice, maybe more. I certainly got past that point and beat the game as both Mario and Luigi. However when I started a new file I recieved the same problem as you. The same point and everything! I thought it was some freak thing, but now I see it isn't if it is happening to you.

Have you double-checked that you have the latest Wii updates?

Yup I always update. Oh are you talking to the original poster?

If it's the same problem, I was kinda aiming it at both of you, but intended for the original poster I didn't think it was definitely that, but it would be my first port of call. Outside of that, I'd be tempted to blame a dud batch of the games.
