Yesterday I got an email from Nintendo showing the Wii Super NES Classic Controller (see attachment) on the Club Nintendo catalogue for 7000 Stars. I'm also loving the retro-style box for it. Awesome! Well, I buy a lot of games and don't spend a lot of Stars, so I got me one! Hours of scratching off little grey panels, entering codes, and having to do a survey for every damn game was not enjoyable. Then I found out you can claim 50 Stars for every Virtual Console and WiiWare game you have downloaded... I managed one before I gave up (and funnily enough the website gave up shortly after). But the Wii Super NES Classic Controller is all mine! I'm looking forward to playing a bit of Super Metroid with it.

That's awesome. I wish the NA SNES buttons were rainbow colored, too. I don't know if we've been lucky enough to see this particular product here through our Club Nintendo.

There was also a plush ? Block that makes sound effects ("Recreate the sound of victory!" I believe the product description said) for 2600 points which I'm very tempted by.
It's all free. Why not? ;D

Man why doesn't America get this kind of stuff? Nintendo has been unusually kind to its European branch lately.

Well, we're getting that figurine with Mario characters. I wouldn't be that jealous
