Since there are many Mega Man fans on this forum I thought I'd share this with you guys. I cosplayed as Mega Man in a convention that took place today.  I didn't make it (I suck at that); I asked a costume store to tailor it for me. I thought myself being short would help. I'll try to come up with ways to improve it, including a functional Mega Buster... And work on better poses  Anyway, I don't want this to be a thread only about me; if you've ever cosplayed or will cosplay, feel free to post your images. |

I'm slowly piecing together a couple costumes for future use. To list, they are...
1) Mario - I was actually quite surprised to find a real denim overall that fit me (this was a year or two back,) but since the hat style is hard to come by (and it'd have to match the sweater,) this one's been stagnant.
2) Link - Not so much any particular Link as much as a personal take, something that came as a result of getting bracers for the costume instead of gloves. Again, rare hat, but the boots I've got figured in any case (though they aren't mine yet.)
3) Robin - For the sake of warmth, I picked the TV Titans design for my Robin (as I specifically wanted Grayson.) Li'l FYI, skinny jeans are actually not as constricting as you may think, just form-fitting. The mask is currently unwearable, but I'm intending to get some contacts when I get my next pair of glasses. The cape is my biggest issue, so it may stagnate this one, too. Who knows, though? I found the mask.

Haha, I never expected this from you, Johans. Well done.
I've never cosplayed before myself, but I intend to one day. Problem with that lies in which character I should try.

Not Nintendo related, but... A friend of mine posted the following cosplay on my DeviantART comments wall. I think it's safe to say that all other cosplays pale in comparison to the sheer awesome of the following.  By the way, remind me October: My Mario is pretty much ready, and I need to post some pictures. |
