I was bored, so I wrote up some Nintendo poems. Tell me what you think.
Mario
Fighting Goomba's, Koopa's, and Bowser one expects to find,
An end to all the senseless violence, and a princess, smart and kind.
Her kiss like a cake worth 120 stars, and a voice like an angel's harp,
A plumber takes part in a daring quest, stomping shells though some are...quite sharp.
-----
The final battle takes place now, on a bridge suspended by rope,
An axe, visible in the distance, provides Mario with a glimmer of hope.
Dodging flames, the plumber leaps. Bowser descends after the hassle,
A lone Toad waits, dispensing his wisdom, "Sorry Mario, but your princess is in another castle."
-----
FUUUUUUUUUUUUU---
Ocarina of Time
Years go by, a boy abandoned, fending for himself,
Finds refuge in a forest, full of talking trees and elves.
A spell was placed to protect the elves provided by a Tree,
Never will they grow, forever living as Kokiri.
-----
Each Kokiri has a fairy, they form quite the double team,
Except for Link who without protection is haunted in his dreams.
Every night, he jerks awake, the Deku Tree takes heed,
Tells a fairy named Navi to help Link to proceed.
-----
The fairy and the boy take off through the roads of Hyrule field,
While facing many dangers, they find a sword that Link must wield.
The Master Sword makes Link grow up, though the future's dark and bleak,
He knows that he can save it thanks to a mystery man named Shiek.
-----
At last he made it, the Hylian boy, has adventured far and wide,
He defeats Ganon, saves Zelda, and hopes to join her side.
She says he can't, he went through time so he has to make things right,
A song is played, and Link is made, a kid again that night.
-----
At the castle, he will wait, for Ganondorf's appearance,
He knows that he will be rewarded for his perseverance.
The Gerudo King does appear and Link asks him a question,
"Hey bro, can I join you? In this body's a lot of pent up aggression."
