Figure it's about time this got a thread. Here's a video of it from that Nintendo conference:
Not much to say right now. I'm pretty amazed we're getting what looks like some sort of Bob-Omb Battlefield level now, though!

Yo, yo yo! It's time for an update! It's now called Sticker Star. No partners or levels- everything is done with stickers. It has a SMRPG style world map, and it also has mariachi Shy Guys.
Have the latest video!

No partners nor levels? But they are what made Paper Mario games so good and fun!

Dang, that sucks. Oh well, we'll have more footage sooner or later anywho.
Anybody knows if the frog suit is still in? It'll suck big time if it gets taken out.

I just saw some extra artwork of the game and it's there alright.
Now, the way that battles work in this game are that all the stickers in your possession are basically your ammo.

Yup. I thought it was rather clever how they've worked in some of the older PM moves. Like, the Frog Sticker is multi bounce, and the Sleepy Sheep is a hammer now.

Gameplay's looking quite challenging (and satisfying so) but dearies I love the music to bits. The battle music is so unfitting to a battle yet makes me want to dance. And the main theme rocks the socks too. The music department like this is such a great change from the retroish style the SPM took. (->v<-)
