I'm betting the farm on it being DiU. He seems about right to stab Ridley in the chest and wear a cloak. Still enjoying the comics, and yet still intrigued (mainly because I don't you guys much, so things like the Yoshi Doll make me "wut"). Still, you got my attention immediately with Ridley at the beginning  |

Really enjoyed this last bunch! Looking forward to more!  (and I have to admit, it's making me want to attempt such a project XD ). If you've got the patience it's worth trying a comic series, if not just for the drawing practice. I usually put aside 1 hour per night for the comic (usually 1 page per day) and the rest of the time studying. I'm a full-time student AND i have a job! Still enjoying the comics, and yet still intrigued (mainly because I don't you guys much, so things like the Yoshi Doll make me "wut"). Still, you got my attention immediately with Ridley at the beginning Well there isn't an inside joke/throw-back in relation to the Yoshi Doll, but those of you who do know me, know that my favourite game IS Link's Awakening. Obviously I'm not going to reveal the identity of Mr X here but guess as much as you like ;D |

It would've been awkward in a comic filled with Nintendo references (altho there were several Ultima games released on the NES, SNES and Game Boy). And the line is not an uncommon expression, but when I googled it, I got a bunch of hits for Ultima, so I'm not the only one who thinks of Ultima when I hear it... So, TEi is like The Guardian, and the cloaked figure is the Avatar in disguise...  |
