Balloon Trip is internally Stage C (Stage 10) and I was wondering if the Stage actually had a natural ending by the same argument that the Home Run Contest stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee 'ends' after reaching 11347.3 ft. It does indeed actually seem to have an 'ending' (perhaps if we assume it is of '0 width' the relative stage width is so many cycles of 2^8 cycles; (depends on how many bytes/bytewords are used for managing stage width). Eventually you'll reach a point where the water is missing ('undefined point 0' I guess) and you'll be 'sucked' into the bottom of the stage unless you fly fairly high. It took a long time to get there and I resorted in generating my own invincibility cheat (011B17D1) first with my Xploder GB by using the 'value different' search after dying in Single Play mode at the point where you're temporarily invulnerable. Though its interesting; if you're careful (and play Balloon Trip mode for hours ) you can ignore the ending and have the stage loop again (but you'd have to die at maximum points (999999) eventually because it loops back through 0 points).

Don't have much to say . . .
But it's a nice find, to see the "actual end" of an "endless mode".

Weird! Certainly looks like it bugs out a treat! ;D
If you're any good at generating cheat codes, you could be a very useful man to know... I often have to play games I'm not particularly good at, and they don't always have official cheats available on the internet.
