Aside from Fry, what's happened to this forum? It's practically dead. And seriously, a mod can't even be bothered to delete the spam messages, now? (I'd do it myself, but my mod powers are restricted to the third party forum.) This is sad, indeed.  |

Ah! Much appreciated! That was driving me crazy since yesterday.
I would think Parrothead would be able to, but I'm not sure if his powers are restricted to the Smash Bros. board or not.
And then there's Hiker of Games, but he hasn't been around lately.

Aye, I've been wondering why it's been so slow around here lately. I mean, the 3DS is out and we're hardly talking about it. What can we do to promote more posting? There's got to be something that reinvigorates this place.

Personally, I'm halfway there between busy and bored. I don't feel like doing things that requires thinking now.
As for the 3DS, it doesn't interest me much as of now. What's so interesting about a system without games?

Actually, I'm not too interested in the 3DS right now, either. No games have been released that I'm really interested in, and it costs way too much right now. Also, I tried it at a demo kiosk, and the 3D was a little hard on my eyes.
I've been hearing reports that the 3DS launch was rather subdued. Slow burn, perhaps?

Welcome to my world, where a game launch usually means no work on NinDB (I was going to say no updates, but there's never updates...) Basically, the way to reinvigorate the forum is simple. Stop playing games and get back to talking about them. Sounds fun, right? Well, that's the dilemma. I also think it's because many of us are now in contact through so many other networks as well. I'm always teasing Teev on Facebook, many of you are on deviantArt, and I'm always nerding out via Twitter about whatever I'm playing... and I check those way more frequently these days. We should nerd out about Pokemon some more. And if someone can trade me a Snivy, Archen, Zorua and Rufflet I would be a happy boy. I need a Thundurus to go catch Landorus too... And then at least I have all the Unova 'mons. Also, can anyone confirm if Old Amber is available from the fossil guy? I've been going back to him every day for weeks now and he keeps giving me all the others, but not that one. |

You mean the guy in Twist Mountain? Yeah, he gifts Old Amber, too. It seems you're just really unlucky. And as for the 3DS, don't count on that "reviving activity" on the forum. The uninteresting launch line up is what's holding it back. Instead, talk about the things yet to come, or rant like whiny fanboys about how certain Nintendo series have yet to appear for the Wii. For example, I'm always ranting to myself and my friends on how there's no F-Zero Ω for the Wii and how Pikmin 3 is always "way into development" or "near completion" and yet they never give ANY info about it. |
