And as for the 3DS, don't count on that "reviving activity" on the forum. The uninteresting launch line up is what's holding it back. Instead, talk about the things yet to come, or rant like whiny fanboys about how certain Nintendo series have yet to appear for the Wii. For example, I'm always ranting to myself and my friends on how there's no F-Zero Ω for the Wii and how Pikmin 3 is always "way into development" or "near completion" and yet they never give ANY info about it. Okay, now it's my turn to whine like a fanboy. If Nintendo's so damn proud and possessive of their other franchises, then why don't they get the hell off the Mario and Zelda horses for a while and tend to these others already? k thx done bye |

(In June) Nintendo does have the (recent) habit of announcing most of their games at least 12 months (and under, like games announced for the 2nd half of the year at E3) before they release. I'm happy to see old or new franchises, so long as the game's good. I don't want them to "ditch" Mario if Mario will make a crapton more money that Nintendo pumps into R&D for new or weird franchises or new studios.
I mean they've been riding the Mario/Zelda coat-tails like crazy for the last few years, and we're all getting Last Story. Hooray!

Nuclearmon used Nuclear Apocalypse. It's super effective. Hahaha, I remember your old doodle of Thermonuclearmissilemon... Using Fire Blast, Selfdestruct, Explosion... and Water Gun. I'm playing Diamond again. I forgot how horribly unbalanced this game is. Everything seems to have nothing but Normal attacks for the first... many painful hours of the game. Then as soon as Shinx learns Spark, you trash everything in no time. Until you get to the Elite Four, where you spend over an hour fighting through all four, get to the Champion, get her down to two Pokémon... and then die because you didn't bring an extra 2 Revives with you. THAT, my friends, is ten kinds of Supermegagay. Also, Drifloon can go screw itself. And Milotic. I didn't get past the Elite Four the first time I played through when the game came out. I was still there when I came back to it. I wish I hadn't just up and wiped the game so readily though... I had a Spiritomb on there! I forgot how difficult that thing was to catch X( |
