I love the "with audio" part of the video!
NintendoWorldReport is known for bringing in their own recording device. They did that last year too.
It also explains the year-long question as of why keys break after being used only once in adventure games.

When I first saw this trailer on the E3 Nintendo website, I was overjoyed. I really enjoyed the original Luigi's Mansion for the Gamecube in spite of how we only had five recurring Mario characters in the game (Luigi, Toad, Mario, Boo, and Bowser even if he was a False Bowser). Wouldn't it be cool if Nintendo diversifies the ghosts by adding the following undead enemies from the Mario games? - Dry Bones and Stretch from Super Mario Bros. 3 - Bony Beetle, Eerie, Fishbone, and Fishin' Boo from Super Mario World - Goomboo from Super Mario Land 2 - Boo Guy from Yoshi's Island (SNES) - Mummipokey from New Super Mario Bros. (DS) - Bomb Boo from Super Mario Galaxy Something tells me not to get my hopes up for that. So, let's move on to something else that have been bugging me since I saw the trailer... how would the controls be like?

That would be really cool, actually. I do sort of like that Luigi has his own enemies in the Luigi's Mansion series, though.
You forgot the Shy Guy ghost, BTW. That was A: A Shy Guy and B: possibly a throwback to Beezers from SMB2.

Well, I don't think anyone was really expecting this. LM seems to be the last thing that we'd usually expect to get a sequel. But hey, this looks to be a major improvement over the first, which was lacking in a lot of areas at best. only had five recurring Mario characters in the game (Luigi, Toad, Mario, Boo, and Bowser even if he was a False Bowser). This might be an accurate comparison in some way, but I've always likened the false Bowser "mecha" in LM1 to all the false Bowsers in the original SMB1 (NES) in castles 1 through 7. Not to mention, the "Bowser???" by the Koopa Bros. (though they were cheap and tacky with theirs; same idea, though). I second this, actually. I'd place my bets on Mummipokey, seeing as there also seems to be another area that's based on an Egyptian tomb. Not to mention, there's more than one mansion this time. Yep, better than the first already.

I'd much rather they keep the Mario elements out of it. The lack of familiar faces is part of what makes Luigi's Mansion stand out.

I find it kind of unbelievable that it's nearly been 10 years since the original got released and I wouldn't be surprised if this get released on 10th anniversary*. (14th September 2001 for Japan and 18th Nov for NA while PAL would be next year . . .)
Never got to play the original, but I'm interested in this.
* Also 10th anniversary for E. Gadd . . .

Can't say I'm a fan of the music. Reminds me of some flash game music on the internet. Also the scene cuts from Luigi looking at the door and back again seem very abrupt.
Another thing I don't like is the ghosts. They remind me too much of de Blob and have more of a gelatinous effect than a glowing ghostly effect.
Err... Sorry about that.

You're not alone in that. I prefer the original Ghosts to these. Although, the Telekinetic Ghost isn't that bad.
The cut with the door, I assumed the person playing hit start and cut from it.

Keep this design for him from now on, Nintendo, and don't ever change it. And not even for the spin-offs. Please.

Thing is, they never used King Boo again. That's not him in 64 Ds, and that's not him in Sunshine. They were just assumed to be him. Weird, huh?

You're right, but the argument has been made that Boss Boo from Sunshine and Big Boo from 64DS weren't supposed to be King Boo from Mansion. Just a thought.
(My argument was they never didn't use that design. =P)

That's only because of the mix-up with his Japanese name. Isn't he still referred to as "King Boo" in the spin-offs over there?
