In this topic, we can post some things in Nintendo games that have a very noteworthy and fun twist to them, and certain things that just come off as purely coincidental. I'll begin with a few examples: 1. The many rides that Link has in the big Zelda titles are all colored red. Red bird (Skyward Sword), red sailboat (Wind Waker), and red horse (Ocarina of Time and probably Twilight Princess). And Link's tunic color is usually green. This is because of red and green being complementary colors, on opposite sides of each other on the color wheel. The same idea also applies to Mario & Luigi, and Mario & Yoshi. Another instance is that of Wario with yellow and purple. Nintendo knows their color very well! Anybody found any examples of blue+orange yet? 2. Princess Peach rules the MUSHROOM Kingdom. Daisy's emblem is a FLOWER. And Rosalina's is a STAR. Of course, this reflects the usual Mario power-ups: Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Star. What's next, a Leaf-themed princess? So long as Super Mario 3D gets it back on the right track. If you've find anything else interesting like that in other games, let 'er rip!

Well... This is rather hard to think of. Anything can be Nintendo trivia, yet not everything is interesting.
Well, how about...
- Kirby has partnered up with a blob in a bluish color, twice.
- 3D Mario is getting more and more one-dimensional (linear), which is somewhat ironic. Mario 64 has mostly exploration stages with the Bowser stages linear, Sunshine has lots of linear obstacle course, Galaxy 1 has planets that are to be visited in order, Galaxy 2 is designed with linearity in mind, Super Mario 3D is a SMB3-esque game in 3D.
- Sword Knight isn't in Kirby Super Star; Blade Knight isn't in Kirby Air Ride.

All fans are actually. In order to be a true fan you need to be pissed off about stuff.

Well, that's what being a fan is about: being overly concerned about something. It's not neccessarily unhealthy, but you'll pay more attention to that thing than non-fans, for sure.

Mickey Mouse owes some- probably a large part- of his popularity in Japan to Nintendo. Around 1955, Nintendo licensed Mickey for playing cards. They were a big hit, from what I remember, and Mickey stayed popular. He might have been around before then in Japan, but I'm guessing that gave him the big push he needed.
This was also Nintendo's first big non-traditional hit- I'm not sure how popular their Hanafuda cards were, but they were already a 70 year old company.

He also played Eeyore in most of the Winnie the Pooh movies. Mario, Eeyore and Optimus Prime. That's quite a trio.

Y'know, in a couple of your posts I've been left scratching my head over who Red M is. It just hit me. I'm going to start referring to characters by their colour and initial from now on. I was playing Pokémon Black earlier, and I finally got Yellow P.
