An good sounding action RPG made by N-Space and published by Square Enix for the 3DS.
here's some details.
- Drop in/drop out co-op multiplayer with online and voice chat.
- game in development for 6 months
- inspired by Western and Japanese adventure games
- story snynopsis:
Four mercenaries, each with their own strengths, weaknesses and motivations, answer a call to find a cure for the dying ruler of the city of Nexus. These unlikely heroes can choose to create a fearsome alliance or venture forth from the city alone. Beyond the safety of the city the land is filled with strange and dangerous creatures, but none as deadly as the evil force behind the curse, which the heroes must eventually confront and destroy.
- real-time combat system
- combat differences depending on if the player decides to play alone or with other heroes.
- enemies have various attacks, including ranged attacking from snipers, unblockable attacks from hulking beasts, and evasive and fencing attack behaviors
- SpotPass content includes daily challenges that reward with in-game items
- items that the player has sold to their Traders Network shop will be made available to every player via StreetPass
- player gets special points which scale with the rarity of the item
- accumulation of these points will grant access to special items in the shop like legendary weapons
- keep track of challenge progress on the community website
- challenges unique to the website as well
- over 200 enemies
Dungeons and enemy positions are randomly generated, there will be thousands of unique weapons for each class (who's stats can be seen instantly when next to them, or can be sold for money on the spot, selling them to a shop will result in more money and will put them up on Streetpass).
