This is a thread where you can post all legened of Zelda's trivia to any legend of Zelda game. Here are a few to start.
The Legend of Zelda-There are various Easter eggs throughout the game. Some reveal areas where you can either get a red potion or (more preferably) a heart container. Others reveal a strange creature who will give you up to 100 rupees, claiming that "It's a secret to everybody". Some secret areas are stores
The Legend of Zelda-The "White Sword" in the game may have evolved into the Kokiri Sword. It is also speculated that the Magical Sword may have evolved into the Master Sword. The Magical Shield may have evolved into the Fire Shield in A Link to the Past. The "power bracelet" may have evolved into the Goron Bracelet.
The Legend of Zelda-Unlike later games, heart containers can be acquired in ways other than defeating a boss. This was later changed to heart piece. Also, one can acquire several items and upgrades before even entering the first dungeon. A Link to the Past changed it to make this more gradual and linear; this has been the standard ever since. I found all of this at Nintendo.wika.com When you post don't forget to put the games name and the site you found it at

The Legend of Zelda:The Adventure of Link-A notable mistranslation in this game is one character who claims his name is "Error". This is a mistranslation from the original "Errol", which in Japanese is pronounced identically to "Error". This was not fixed in subsequent ports.

Claw00, honey, I think most of us already knew all of these. If you are interested in Zelda trivia, I suggest you head to Zeldapedia or Zelda Wiki. There was no need to start a thread like this.

I'm guessing you haven't actually played the game... An Easter Egg is something hidden outside of normal gameplay, so the location of heart containers would not count as an Easter Egg. An Easter Egg would be entering your save file name as ZELDA to start the second quest straight away. And it's not a "strange creature"... It's a Moblin, one of the enemies you see dozens of throughout the game and that appears throughout the Zelda series. My source is... I dunno, because the internet wasn't around that long ago...

The Legend of Zelda:The Adventure of Link-A notable mistranslation in this game is one character who claims his name is "Error". This is a mistranslation from the original "Errol", which in Japanese is pronounced identically to "Error". This was not fixed in subsequent ports. That's totally not a mistranslation. There is another character named Bug in the game that lends credence to it being a weird hardware joke. It might have been more of a pun in the Japanese version, though. Zelda II was still a badly translated game with a script that wasn't even humorously badly translated, like Zelda 1.

The 'evolve" stuff is bollacks and silly, unless meant as a metaphorical statement, at which point its even sillier. Most folks that have played the original games can figure out the Goron Bracelet was a replacement for the Power Bracelet, or the Master Sword as a successor to the White Sword.
TL;DR, stop being a n00b if you're going to stay here.

That takes time Qu. You got to be patient with new people. As long as they aren't being rotten I don't have a problem with noobs. They get the hang of things eventually.

Koopaul, there is a difference between being a n00b and being new. And this guy is a n00b. Not saying he can't reform, though.

A n00b is like that guy. Haphazard spelling, punctuation and abbreviations, failure to read the rules, empty posting, etc. A new guy is someone who is new.
I don't think many people stop to think about this, but that's the vibe I've always gotten from use of n00b.
