(I'm wondering if this thread should be in this section of the forum) This is something I'm been thinking of for a while but for cameos purposes what games have we not played? (as a community) The basic assumptions would be . . . . . . at least nearly all the Japan only games (outside of ongoing fan translations Eg Mother 3, various Fire Emblems, etc) Games not aimed at everybody (gender or non gaming software or "educational") such as: Girls Mode/Style Savvy or Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day or Art Academy. Games not released at retail: Eg WiiWare/DSiWare and possible Sattilaliteview games. Did anyone buy Art Style: ZENGAGE/NEMREM or Eco Shooter: Plant 530? Games of . . . niche franchises or just unique . . . Magical Starsign, Fossil Fighters, Mario Pinball Land/Metroid Prime Pinball, Master of Illusion, ExciteBots. After writing all this, I know that not all these games will have cameos, and that most of this games come from the DS onwards. I'm not saying to list down all the games you have or haven't played (unless we find some sort of "make your own check list website thingy") But still makes you think right?

I've been playing through as many Japanese games as I can, which is how I managed to expand on the cameos in Yuuyuuki and Heisei: Shin Onigashima. And then I had someone send me the N64 cameo in the SFC version of Famicom Detective Club Part II.
I've also played quite a way through X and For the Frog the Bell Tolls.
I also bought most of the Art Style games, including Zengage.
However, there are a lot of Japan-only DSiWare games, and I know some of them have cameos, but until I get the game pages online I haven't got anywhere to put them.
I still have a handful of adventure games to get through, including the Famicom Detective Club games, Time Twist, Forest of Beginnings... then there's Marvelous, which seems to have compatibility problems with emulators...
Any of the Custom Robo games, up to the GameCube version... most Japan only RPGs. Hell, there's loads of games that haven't been scoured! ;D

Japan-only games are... well, some are quite unplayed by us, others aren't. Still, not counting emulation, I've played only a few of those. I'm not big in text adventures, so naturally I didn't touch most of them, with the exception of Famicom Detective Club II, which you can't possibly lose (in the literal sense, no one ever thought about physically harming the teen detective for some reason) and a very small bit of Shin Onigashima Zenpen and Metal Slader Glory. I seriously think if we put all NinDB regulars here, we can actually cover most of the games... well, most. Not all. I don't think any of us will get that English revision tool, for example.
