Are there people in here who has never played a Portal game? If so, get on that! I just beat the second one (as well as getting every single player achievement so I didn't miss anything) and I have to say, Portal 2 is one the the best written and most creative games I've ever played.
The voice acting was perfect as well. J.K. Simmons played a convincing modern mad scientist. ("If you cut yourself and find out your blood is now gasoline, that's normal.") And Stephen Merchant as Wheatley was freaking hilarious. I don't want to spoil anything but the story goes all over the place (GLaDOS' fate after the first couple chapters is also pretty great).
Anyone else play these incredible games?

Welllll I played the first one until chamber.... 6? I dunno. I wasn't too thrilled so I didn't bother continue on, despite people already nagging to me I'm still on the friggen tutorial and need to get on my ass and finish it.
Maybe one day...

Played through my free copy of Portal last year and it was great. I had already witnessed the story/ending after watching a dude back in 2007 at uni play through a copy he obtained through other means . . .
If I had a computer good enough to run it, I would have gotten Portal 2 at launch, I even obtained the co-op Snorkal set from the Steam Summer Camp sale.
Then 2 weeks ago I played through Portal 2's co-op with a friend's PS3. The co-op was pretty awesome. Haven't played the single player though.

I bought a new graphics card just so I could play Portal 2, but I haven't tries the Co-op yet since my internet's being all moody. *sigh*

Will try if it's free. It's a dilemma there: I like Valve, but I don't like first-person. They're awesome and all, but the game genre has been keeping me from actually playing their stuff. That one free game of theirs, TF2, is online, which again prevents me from really trying it (same reason as why I don't play Nintendo WFC stuff).

Valve has made the best first-person games I've ever seen. Everything they make is plated with gold. Not sure about Alien Swarm, though...

Unfortunately, I already finished the co-op mode. Sorry.
