While tracking down the Japanese names for Kid Icarus enemies, I found an interesting little tidbit that was lost in translation. This guy is named Collin. In Japan, he's named "Korinzu", which could be Corinth or Collins. Corinth, right? That's a place in Greece! But then there's Eeleye, who circles Collin: He's one of the few enemies whose name was totally changed. From "Firu". Or Phil. So... Phil Collins. Against all odds, I cannot believe it's true. Misunderstanding? That's just the way it is. I don't care any more. That's all. Take me home. (This sentence brought to you by Wikipedia's Phil Collins & Genesis discography pages)

I thought I'd bump this because in Kid Icarus: Uprising, Phil is one of the few names they corrected, so it indeed was Collin and Phil. They made a joke about fixing Tanatos->Thanatos, but left some of the others alone (Palutena/Pallas Athena, Hewdraw/Hydra, Erinus/Erinys, Ganewmede/Ganymede, Syren/Siren).
