So they're using 14-digit numbers now?
I have the game now, and I'm now trying it. It's a bit silly that the game will yell "SD card error" if I don't go to Mario Kart Channel first.

Just played some Wi-Fi match with Tsukushi. Thanks for reminding me why do I hate online play, Nintendo. The online experience itself is of no problem, with the relatively insignificant lag and all, but why must you remind me that I suck by putting that "you're a huge loser" tag on me? No need to tell me I have 2 loses for every win, sheesh. (In that aspect, Brawl and Excitebike World Rally are the only online games done right.)
Just wondering when will a NinDB-wide rae ever take place. I'm actually looking forward to it (and getting ready to lose even more; I'm used to Nintendo shoving data like that to the users anyway, and I stopped caring).

Had trouble getting online which I presume is due to the strain on Nintendo's servers from so many people getting the game yesterday, but I've joined the group.
Really liking Mario Kart 7. A LOT more than MK Wii which was completely wrecked by having 12 players which in turn made it every race result virtually random due to not being constantly bombarded by bullet bills, lightning, blue shells, mega mushrooms etc. It's a relief that Mario Kart 7 doesn't have that problem, it's just like the other Mario Karts. Probably my favourite Mario Kart yet, surpassing DS, although the true acid test will be when I try it online. My only issue with the game is the small character roster and the lack of fake item boxes.

I got it yesterday. Been playing this all day yesterday and all morning today. I unlocked all the characters... all that's left to do is clear the mirror cups.

Stayed over at my brother's house on boxing day, where three of us played Mario Kart all day, to the point that I thought I was seeing green shells on the way back. Did I miss the tournament?
