Huh, so they're changing the name for the US release? I didn't see that coming. At the time of the original's US release, they had to localize it as "Jet Grind Radio" because the term "jet set" was under some sort of legal copyright whoozits. Obviously, by the time Jet Set Radio Future rolled around (heh), that was no longer an issue.
But...a graffiti contest...? I don't know much about graf writing, but I've got some old issues of Juxtapoz lying around that should help me out. They better hope they have the hoodie in XXXL. ;D
Also, I like how it's being remade in HD, but it still looks blocky and chunky. Just the way I remember. <3

Honestly, unlike other games of the era, the blockiness seemed to be part of the charm. Especially Combo. <3

I thought the blockiness was deliberately used in conjunction with the cell shading so that the game, itself, would look like the style of graffiti. Quite a bold (and groundbreaking) statement for its time.

JSR on steam is having a flash sale of 66% off. (costs like $4.41, instead of $13)
(expires in 5 hours, 48 minutes from now)
EDIT: Sale ended, but regular Steam sale price is still 50% off. ($6.49)
