This looks pretty interesting and kind of trippy at the same time I'm just trying to imagine the conversation that led to this idea. Camelot employee 1 : Okay guys . . . What if? Instead of playing tennis against another player, it turns out that your playing against a wall . . . Camelot employee 2 : Play against a wall, that's been done before . . .CE 1 : No, no, no. Not a regular wall. A wall that displays that original NES Super Mario Bros . . .CE 2: What . . .CE 1 : And like . . . When the ball hits the ? Blocks and the Goomba's it's like . . . the same effect Mario's hands or feet have in the game.CE 2 : This . . . This sounds crazy enough to work . . .

The SMB stage is most certainly a cameo, and the Mario Galaxy stage at a stretch (ie. within the tolerances of the site for spinoff games).
Is the Mario Kart stage just the one with the big mushrooms? Because big Mushrooms have been around in the series for some time as a general feature. Is there anything particularly Mario Kart about the stage?

It looks very similar to the Mushroom Gorge race track from Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7 to me.
This video is really making me tempted to buy the game... I mean, Mario Kart and Mario Tennis are the only Mario sports games I enjoy the most. I can see myself playing this game before the end of the year.
