Fire Emblem Awakening Cameos - Minor Spoilers

Like most Fire Emblem games, the cameos that we want are not in the main game, but in the bonus content, Awakening is no different in this regard as all the DLC and Spotpass content references other Fire Emblem games.

DLC 1
Another Story - Spirit Talisman 1
This map is a remake of the Talys map from the original Fire Emblem, and all the music that plays is from the original Fire Emblem.

The enemies that you fight are also not just generic enemies, but characters from old Fire Emblem games. They are:

Caeda: Pegasus Knight
Lilina: Mage
Julia: Mage
Deirdre: Dark Mage
Lyn: Myrmidon
Eirika: Myrmidon
Nanna: Troubadour
Micaiah: Mage
Elincia: Pegasus Knight
Cellica: Mage (Boss)

Beyond just the enemies, you are also joined by three NPC characters as follows:

Marth: Star Lord
Alm: Mercenary
Ike: Mercenary

After you beat the level, only Marth joins your party.

Spotpass
The current theme for Spotpass right now is the first generation of FE4. Here are the characters that you can download.

Eirika looks like a standard Lord with Myrmidon attributes (high skill/speed, the ability to use Shamshir). So they went for the latter. Hmm.

Eirika was either a modified Myrmidon or they recycled Lyn's class back in FE8 anyway, as evidenced by the fact that she can use a Killing Edge.

Also I find it interesting you pretty much have to kill every female main character in the DLC

Apparently, Awakening is a direct continuation of Archanea's story. One of the support conversations mentioned the old story of the Black Panther and the Great Bull (Abel and Cain). Do those count as cameos?

The map of FE13's Sidequest 6 is similar to Doma's Gate in FE2. It's at the same location (so the structure is still there after thousands of years, huh...), and even features a boss of the same name (but not the same class).

Here's another cameo, this one revealed in a recent issue of Nintendo Dream. This has main game spoilers, so don't read if you don't want to know. I wouldn't call them huge spoilers, but that's just me.

All of the children characters except for My Unit's child has their birthday occurring on the same day that a Fire Emblem game was released in Japan.
