Jokes aside, I love how well they'll be integrating the second screen. I wonder what are those new leaders though.
The game looks pretty very gorgeous though. I'll be sure to get this one.

Ahh Pikmin 3, the only game that got me excited (save for the Wii U port of Trine 2 which surprised me) at the conference. My reason for getting a Wii U (well that and Rayman Legends).  I wonder what are those new leaders though. I wonder too, at first I thought it was Olimar's family but that doesn't seem to be the case, I remembered his family looking a little different from this one plus there is already a man in the group that is clearly not Olimar. Speaking of Olimar, I'm curious to what happened with him and what his role will be (didn't that guy say that the reason Olimar was not shown in the video is still a secret?). |

I'd assume you have to rescue Olimar or something. Or perhaps he's the president now and these are his new recruits. That would be pretty cool!
In the trailer, did anybody else spot what appeared to be flying pink Pikmin?

^ Yep I saw it, I saw it around the "title screen" saying Pikmin 3.
I liked the comment from Miyamoto when he compared Pikmin acting like ants . . . A possible hint perhaps?

I remember reading that Miyamoto got the Pikmin idea from observing ants in his garden.

So let's see... From the Nintendo Direct: - Koppai and PNF-404 are 279,000 lightyears apart - Charlie landed on some snowy plain at 08:44 and discovered the yellow Pikmin - Alph landed at 08:46 on some shallow water and found three red Pikmin, then proceeded to help them to detach a stuck Onion - Also, Alph's first-person pronoun is "boku", though it doesn't make any importance for English speakers - Looks like Mission Mode is available after the first day? Ugh... nothing really new there. |
